The only thing worse than the Eskimoes this season is the officiating.

What an absolutely god awful call. Complete gift. You expect these things to even out over the year but they've just been piling on the garbage all year.

i've never noticed any difference between the reffing based on teams at all... the CFL refs are this bad in pretty much every game i've ever watched in my entire life... i honestly don't remember a game where the refs didn't make a *ridiculous* call... the NCAA has a bad call like that once and a while, maybe every 2nd or 3rd game

the difference between the reffing level of the CFL/NCAA/NFL is a lot greater than the difference in playing talent, and the talent gap is quite wide

Sure that wasn't PI too refs? Stamps did try a long ball and didn't complete it.

Expect more of the same. This game should be over by half time. The Esks are garbage compared to the Stamps.
I've always thought that that was such horse ****. It's a reality (officials are infatuated by the good clubs) but really it's just an excuse for officiating incompetence.

I won't be watching all of the game as we're already mostly out of it. All I can hope is 2 big losses to the Stamps here is the last straw for the Eskies and they clean house after the end of this week. Reed and Rhodes in particular.

The thing I envy the most about the Stamps isn't their offense or defense.

It's their damn kicker.

Running play with no blocking. That's a 2013 Eskies play right there.

I never said the officiating is good. That said bad teams DO tend to get bad breaks. The negativity of losing has consequences.

Man I don't know how they get rid of Reed after extending him this season. That'd be a tough pill to swallow.

What claptrap. Has any single person here made holiday summer plans around the schedule? Its not even something I think about. Next, who exactly is travelling to see this gongshow? Did the Esks even charter fan buses to Calgary this weekend like they had in the past? tbh you couldn't pay me enough to embarrass myself pretending to be a fan of this club while walking around Calgary. Really anytime I've been to Calgary lately I prefer to remain hush hush on my city of origin where I still reside.

No, the record matters, and I don't care much about a 1-7 club and certainly won't be bragging regardless of the result today. More that I make sure all Eskimos gear is tucked safely in the closet where it won't see the light of the sun for awhile..

Well, don't look now, terrible record promising to get worse. I feel like the org is trolling the fanbase with nonsense like the above. Or completely ignorant to how much the wheels have fallen off and that "Eskimos pride" simply doesn't exist either on the field or in the stands. They've taken that motto, gone out back, and shot it. Put it out of its misery.

Can't remember exactly when the shift occurred, or how many times. Maybe it was the Vanilla Ice concert. Nob bad enough to troll the home fans for 60mins. Punish them at halftime too.
I think the referendum on this organization comes Friday night in the rematch. This team used to draw over 50,000 for the Labour Day rematch. I'd be shocked if they were anywhere close to 35,000. People have tuned this team out.

The esks are 1-7 and that doesnt deter my desire to watch this game anywhere close to as much as having to endure both the cfl officiation and Suitor. It is almost too much for a guy to take.

could you even imagine a worse start? oh and btw, that calgary guy that just got the INT did about 10 times more to our receiver than we did to theirs on the pass interference call, lol

If that's an Esk DB, PI is called. Every single time.

How is that any different than the PI in the endzone?

Was closer to PI than the touchdown they gave Calgary for sure.

Should I continue watching this trainwreck or not?

My guess would be that the players on the INT were hand fighting. The PI call was hands to the back.

I thought the Esks would last till the half but this baby might be over at the end of the 1st quarter.

That is why they'd need to clean house. Only way really.

Another TD Stamps after a pick. Game's over. Enjoy the rest of this ass kicking folks. I am hoping for a 50p+ Stamps win. Without the Eskies getting destroyed, this idiotic group will keep sticking with the morons they put in charge.

Rhodes isn't going anywhere, much as we'd like to believe otherwise

No PI on that one, what a surprise. And then the defense proceeds to pull down their pants and bend over.

And now another huge hold nullifies a good return. CONSEQUENCES!

Well what the Stamps did was actually PI.

Another penalty for the Eskies remove a large play. Joke team with joke leadership.

And now another possible INT. Funny funny game.

Why is that? If Edmonton can't draw 35K to the labour day rematch it's pretty obvious Rhodes's leadership is turning fans away.

we're gonna have the same coaching staff the rest of this season, even if we lost every game 946-0.... there is no reason to put in another coaching group at this point, it serves no purpose

all these coaches are going to be fired, i'd be utterly shocked if that didn't happen in the off season... but to do it now doesn't really accomplish anything

the sad things, is that until the ENTIRE MANAGEMENT group is removed, nothing really matters at all... you're just shuffling the deck chairs on the titanic... in all honesty, i am REALLY envious of ottawa, as they get to start fresh with a whole new team.... whereas we are going to be stuck with the same idiots running the team until the team starts losing money, which is going to take at least a couple more years of this crap
