Reilly is definitely a bit off on his passes today. Seems to be overthrowing or underthrowing guys quite a bit.

Was a lot more precise the past few weeks.

If your offensive line is so inept that it will soon destroy yourr qb, come up with a strategy to back off the blitzkrieg.

Our offense is guided by a team of donkys

There's not much of a drop off between Glenn, Tate, and Mitchell, although Mitchell is the least proven. When you have decent coaching and a good system in place, the QB can serve as a facilitator of the offense as opposed to needing to make a bunch of magic happen. Why Calgary has ditched the run in light of Glenn going down is a mystery, but not the first time Huffnagel has done so.

Might have to do with the 3000 hits he's taken in 28 minutes here

For sure.

Don't get me wrong. Reilly is the last place I look when trying to assign blame for this team sucking but he's still off today.

yeah reilly is having a bad day, but it is likely due to him feeling rushed all game as he's been on his back on about half the plays so far

The Stamps defence has exposed Reilly and the offence.

I think Reilly is hurt and its a wonder he is still in the game.

Reilly is well on his way to being Buck Peirce II.

Reillys stats....5-14 for 33 yards and 2 Ints. That is absolutely embarrassing.

Forget it

Did you listen to the announcers while they explained the rule passed down from Pee Wee football on? If you can see him tag you can't block him, he wasn't in front of him hence .....he was behind him

It was a close play. Could have been called either way.

It's pretty obvious that Reilly is not "right" after last week's game and because of the hits he took in the 1st quarter today. We're not winning this one with him in this condition. Cornish will probably rip it up in the 2nd half like Sheets did last week.

I've seen this from Reilly all year

Great arm talent, great athlete, good leader but he struggles with command of his ball and makes 1-3 terrible decisions a game

His enitre deep ball offence the prior two games was throwing up contested balls and letting his WR make great plays. That strategy only has so much shelf life

Suitor is the one I am suppose to use to base my opinion? That's a major foul just for the suggestion.
He couldn't see his namebar because the guy was beside him. The Calgary guy stopped running, the Esks guy caught up to him and shoved him sideways. Then the guy got up and cried and the refs derped as usual and called a penalty cause they saw a guy flying.

LOL Buck Pierce would be dead week 2 with this O line. Rielly has proven he is at least durable, he is not immortal!

I agree that maybe Crompton should maybe come in because something is up with Reilly.

A few observations. After the CFL admitting that they jobbed us out the game last week somehow missing a headshot on Reilly they resume this week by immediately gifting Stamps a bogus TD on a phantom PI call.

This is why people were upset. Not only does the league **** up last week you know that sure as hell more is coming.

Way to set the tone for the game from the outset. This club has enough problems without battling the refs all week.

Which leads me to, yes, Coehoorn.

Once again, and absolute cluster**** of a play. Gets a one on one ball thrown his way, all he has to do is have solid inside position on the ball, instead he completely ****s up, again loses judgement on where the ball is going to be, is outside, and not only that he falls down on the play like he's shot allowing a long return and Stamps get a TD off of that. Single worst play of the football game.

People keep seeing me talk about it because this is a joke of a football player. Pretend tough, can't run, can't hit, little benefit out there. Just occupying a jersey.

Should I note that Coehoorn hasn't caught a pass in 3 weeks.

If you're getting pounded nearly every passing play, whether you get the pass off or not, eventually, it will wear on you and influence how you play. You start to hear the steps, your timing goes to ****, and you overthrow or underthrow. I don't care if it's a HOF QB, it will wear on you and mess you up badly. Calgary had a great game plan and executed it perfectly. Hit Reilly early and often, and expect the carnage to eventually take it's toll. The line has been unable to pick up any form of a blitz, and little John White is having a tough time back there.

Heh, I'm reading Twitter and Calgary fans are blaming Eskimos fans for this game not being a sellout.

These games used to be almost 60/40 whether it was in Edmonton or Calgary. Edmonton fans are down on their team and Calgary fans don't consider the Eskimos a rival anymore RE: Calgary fan comments in yesterday's SUN.

The non-sellout doesn't surprise me.

I agree with putting another QB in there. However, they should stick Reed's buddy Joseph in there to take some punishment.

The bolded is explanation. If Reilly was healthy he could roll out, evade tackle and be more of a handful than he's being. Not blaming him either but he's obviously not 100% in this one and who would be? The guy has taken a beating.

Would've preferred to see more of White in this game gettting some runs. If you telegraph shot gun on every play and every play is a pass not hard to defend against.

I'd like to see White get more touches as well but as usual the Eskimos put themselves into aggressive passing situations less than ten minutes into the football game.
