Just like I said 20 minutes ago, Kavis not being able to add and calling a ridiculous bomb to the corner on the 2 pointer we did go for is the difference. Kavis screws us out of yet another win. And the near comeback will of course preserve his job again.

Another day, another "I liked the way we battled" ******** quote from Kavis Reed and a forlorn "Sorry guys" tweet from Mike Reilly.

*sigh*

I'm not even sure what to make of that game. Just want Reilly to get a win.

it pains me to think where this team would be if we didnt have a moron coaching us.

It's like we have to try to win in spite of him.

Tough one, but we certainly didn't deserve to win by playing good football for half of a quarter and not showing up for the rest. This team was not ready to play from the opening whistle onward. Gutsy effort by Reilly once again, after getting pummelled repeatedly by a non-existent offensive line. Another "moral" victory for the team.

Me too. He's going to take it all on his shoulders later as well. I'm fully expecting another "I'm sorry, guys" tweet.

Normally I'd agree, but after the TWO calls Calgary got to put them on the one yard line twice, we were owed a borderline one. He played the ball but he had his other hand firmly on Stamps. More ridiculously one-sided officiating.

Worst possible result. I wish it had stayed a blowout.

Maybe the refs are not giving Kavis any calls as they can't stand his show either.

One good quarter doesn't change anything. Terrible coaching and terrible reffing again. I am not sure why we never get a damn call going our way.

However, Reilly deserves the game ball and Kavis deserves a kick in the ass. A kick so freaking hard it pushes him right out of his office and on to the unemployment line.

Maybe, but the damage was already done. As soon as we made it 37-27, the whole dynamic changed in terms of how this game was going to be received by the media and defended by the organization. We may as well have just won. As GK said, worst possible result. The refs didn't do us any favours by allowing us to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again.

Ooh, timing post. First catch in 3 games and you think you got a ringer here? lol Coehoorn was solely responsible for the interception that led to a TD against early in the game.

Desperate.

Go back to sleep.

Pretty much my take. A win in this one would've hidden some awful lack of compete that befalls this lineup in stretches of every game. Heres a clue.

When you have to come from behind from 30pts late in a game something is wrong.

If you get most of that back something was still wrong.

Won't be long now, maybe 1, possibly 2 more losses (games) and there will not be any more important games left this year. And it will still technically be summer. Shades of the Oilers seasons being over just after New Years. Just sad.

Just heard some dude on the radio dissing Simeon Rottier. And I agree with him 100 %. The guy has proven to me that he is a very weak link on a shaky offensive line. The man is a sieve.

Much sadder than anything the Oilers have done over the past six, seven years.

This is a bloody eight team league. The fact that there are two teams this bad... it's just inconceivable and it's the truest indication of incompetence. Both the Bombers and the Eskimos are run by inept regimes.

I expect another tough loss on Friday while Reilly throws a bunch of yards when the game seems out of reach

The fact is he hasn't proven to be a winner

All depends on the greasy Popp lead Alouettes.

So the Esks with another late game furious comeback. I saw they were down 30 at one point?

Meanwhile I was too busy throwing things at my TV as Roger Federer lost in straight sets confirming for the umpteenth time that the GOAT needs to retire.

Today sucks.

Eskies are getting beaten so badly that the UN will be sending in peace keepers as human shields for the next game

my dream....."the Edmonton Eskimos have just announced that Kavis Reed" and his coaching staff have been fired"....problem is, how do we replace them mid season? with whom and where do we find them?

My first thought is Paul LaPolice, but he is probably getting paid by the Bombers and TSN

How can any sane person keep this coaching staff?

I have never witnessed such inept coaching in all the years I've been a fan. It has been nothing short of disastrous.

I hope Reilly knows how much the fans appreciate his heart. He's about the only one that I'm proud of at the moment.

How do you not come up with some sort of play to get the league's best receiver open?

Gotta give the Stamps credit. Their defence is really good and they had an excellent game plan. They were all over Rielly and completely neutralized the Eskimo receivers for three quarters.

Enough complaining about the coaches already. The players need to make plays and they didn't do that until the Stamps took their foot of the gas. I think the criticism needs to be focused on the lack of talent on this team in key positions. The Esks need to do everything in the realm of possibility this off season to improve the Oline and secondary. The Oline especially is as bad as I have seen in 20+ years of watching CFL football. The secondary isn't far behind.
