He cost Bostong the game the time he jumped Emelin.

So I just read that there are four NHL Prospect Tournaments going on.

This is the first I've heard of such tournaments. Have the Canadiens ever participated? I'm guessing that the teams participating in these tournaments aren't holding their own rookie camp.

Yeah I remember when I was young they had a couple of these at Guertin in Hull and the habs were there. About 15 years ago

Wasn't that long ago the Habs participated. Price played in a couple iirc.

I remember that when we had those kind of tournaments teams like Toronto would stack their team with older players and would goon it up to hurt our prospects. I don't mind our team not participating in those kind of tournaments anymore.

I don't mean to drag on this topic but it was the same against Blackhawks. As soon as the Hawks and especially Toews started going straight for him instead of avoiding him the whole series changed.

call me old school or just old but the NFL season should start on a Sunday. That was part of the excitement, with 14 games or so going on for the start of the season.

And yet it doesn't appear on the official invitation list...strange.

True but this way we get to watch an extra game on Thursday night instead of watching a soap opera with Madame

Thanks to Dave Stubbs for doing the Habs job and provide us with the schedule for the camp....Habs just don't care about their fans too much...So by looking at it, I should be there tomorrow, maybe Sunday, surely Monday.

I suggest you don't go today unless you want to see hockey guys stretching on a soccer field....No ice today. Starts tomorrow.

I wonder what it'll take for Tinordi, or even perhaps Beaulieu, to secure a spot on the 3rd pairing right out of camp.

MB has said that he WILL make space if need be.

Subban
Markov
Gorges
Bouillon
Murray
Diaz
Drewiske
Emelin

Emelin is out that's for sure until November if not more. Drewiske is most probably the #7 guy, If Tinordi or Beaulieu are going to be the #7 guys I'd rather they go play 25+ minutes in Hamilton. Unless of a trade or an injury to a top 6 D, I don't see either starting the year on the Habs roster

Then why are they bringing Tinordi to the Golf event but not Beaulieu? I'm pretty sure he will be on the lineup on october 1st
