Khaira and Gernat. To me personally I think Gernat has the skill set to be an impact defenceman in the NHL in the next 2-3 years.

I think Miller is going to be leaned on quite a bit for this tournament and in OKC this year. Not only is he one of the oldest players (24) but on the roster, but with a forward corp with a lot of size and grit his game should really stand out.

I think he'll be noticeable at this tourney simply because he'll have an extra gear not everyone will have (in terms of speed).

It's going to be great just to watch some Oilers hockey again. Really looking forward to watching Khaira, Roy, Nurse, Klefbom and Marincin the most.

Going to be keeping an eye on Greg Chase. Have higher than normal hopes for the 7th rounder. Hoping for an Andrew Shaw like player.

Above all else I am looking forward to seeing a team that initiates contact and physical play for a change. I'm looking forward to some of these kids graduating to the NHL ranks in a few years to start making us a tougher team to play against.

Players that I'm looking forward to seeing that are less heralded than most of the others: Houck, Platzer and Betker.

It'll be interesting to see how Kyle Bigos will stack up against the Oilers defense.

I wonder if there will be any ill will on his part towards the Oilers?

I don't see why there would be (aside from wanting to prove them wrong), the Oilers gave him a shot elsewhere and even then he couldn't land an NHL deal. That being said I hope the kids keep their heads up while he's out there.

Trouba - RHD - 1st 2012 - NHL ready, great world jrs, dominated and won awards at NCAA level
Scheifele - C - 1st 2011 - NHL ready, great world jrs, 41 pts in 21 playoff games, gained 18(!) lbs since the off season with gary roberts
Lowry - C - 3rd 2011 - WHL player of the year, turned it up when he switched to center part way through last year, son of Dave Lowry, huge kid
Kichton - RHD - 7th 2013 - 20 YO drafted this year and could be steal of the draft, leading WHL d-man in points, awesome on PP
Morrissey - LHD - 1st 2013 - excellent wheels and 5v5 offensive instincts
Petan - C - 2nd 2013 - Tied for CHL scoring title last year, on the small side, incredible hands
Lodge - RW - 3rd 2013 - Sleeper pick, really turned it up the last half of the regular season last year

Seriously, it blows my mind everytime that we don't send RNH/Gagner over to this guy to improve their strength/weight. He's done wonders for guys like Stamkos/Skinner in the past.

Darnell Nurse already looks bigger than he did at the draft, he's put on some muscle this summer.

Kid is gonna be a beast in time.

I don't understand why everyone talks about Gary Roberts like he invented fitness. It's the biggest train of hype ever.

What about all the guys that didn't go to Gary Roberts camp and had breakout seasons? There are a tonne of them out there.

Lots of qualified trainers around especially with the amount that NHLers can afford to pay. Roberts isn't the Alpha and Omega of training.

You know who else trains with Gary Roberts?

Paul Bissonnette. Yeah.
