Just looked at your team for the first time... and to echo what others have said, that's a pretty damn good team even for someone who actually did draft it. I"m not a huge Wallace fan, personally, but he won't hurt you as a WR2.

Yeah, I'm iffy on him too but who knows, and Garcon isn't a bad option off the bench. Most of all, landing Rice, Morris and Sproles, at least I'm good at running back. Don't really have any depth there, or anywhere, but overall, the starting lineup top to bottom is pretty solid. I was kinda shocked to be honest, expected to find a team full of injured guys and has beens. Pretty happy to get what I got.

There was a guy in my Y! league that had an autodraft and they basically filled up his roster from position to position, and they took a D in the 8th round and a kicker in the 9th round for him.

Yeah, that's kind of what I expected so can't complain about the QBs at all.

Yeah I know. Autopick is partly to blame for that. I may not need my running backs to be great if my receivers perform to their potential though.

Do stats from 2007 count?

If Lacy becomes a legit RB1, then I love your team.

I don't like Jackson, and am nervous as hell about Ball and that committee. I like Bowe, but who knows if you get 10 TD or 3 TD Bowe. I think he has a top 10 WR year this year.

People keep waiting for Steven Jackson to suck just like people keep waiting for the age of the Bears defense to cost them. He's a gauranteed 1000 yards and 10 TD's this year.

I agree about Ball which is why I'll start Welker as my flex until I get a read on Ball

We will see on Jackson... I could benefit from him having a great season in another league, but I need to see it before I believe it. He has burned me badly in the past, so for now he can just **** off.

Keep in mind, Michael Turner over the last 5 years with the Falcons never had less than 800 yards and 10 TD's. If you take out last year (and pro-rate his injury year) he never did worse than 1200 yards and 10 TD's.

Actually, he didn't... which is surprising, since towards the end the top of the ranking list had a kicker or two up there.

What you guys think of my team? Still not sure if I like, love, or hate it. DMC will be huge one way or another, but I'm hoping he guts it out in a contract year.

Scam Newton
Doug Martin
DMC
Marshall
Steve Smith
Giovani Bernard
Jimmy Graham
Texans

Stevie Johnson, Mendenhall, Lance Moore, Vick, Malcom Floyd

Really didn't want Steve Smith at all, but needed a WR2 badly and there was a huge drop off after him.

I've got a couple risky plays in my team, but if Gronk comes back relatively soon and returns to his usual ways, I think I'm going to be beasting it up.

I love Gronk, but I was surprised you took him quite that early. I thought you could have gotten him a round or two later. Very risky pick, but could be gold. He was winning every single week for me last year in my local league, and then I went into the toilet after he got injured.

I was going to take Gronk in the 3rd or on the way back in the 4th

Looks like my matchup with Torment is projected to be pretty close.

WR - Dez Bryant
WR - Hakeem Nicks
RB - Ryan Matthews
RB - Shane Vereen
TE - Jared Cook
WR - Cecil Shorts
WR - Chris Givens
D - Seattle
K - Phil Dawson
WR - Percy Harvin - yep!

Well, I almost waited to take him in the 5th, but I wasn't confident he would have lasted. So I decided to take a guy who in a couple weeks could ideally be back at being the #1 scorer at his position, instead of a Tier 3 WR2. I figured it better to attack, take the better player and hope for the best.

But you are right, I he may have lasted a round or so later. I realize Illinihockey said he was going to take him in the 3/4th, but he was picking behind me at that point, so he was out of the picture until I would have come up in the 5th, so it was really all the guys in the 1-5 spots picking twice I had to worry about. I wonder if TorMenT would have grabbed him in the 5th right before me instead of taking Witten like he did...
