ahhh hfoil don't you dare stop being you.
Get over it. Seven years of **** hockey and organizational incompetence deserves a response like this - no matter the game, no matter the level. Our vaunted defense prospects look horrid and we have no offensive prospects to speak of.

Yep, I addressed that in my previous post. I didn't make it clear enough that it was a joke.

Its just some Oilers fans venting because they are pissed off that their rookies are getting their ***** kicked by the superior Flames rookies.

The Oilers defence looked like borderline ECHL players compared to the Flames rookies in that period.

Not much to be happy about so far.

Speak of the devil...
They're saying what pretty much was being said in here.

Perron just seems so awkward in that interview.

Really thought this game would be closer so far but the 13-shot differential and scoreboard says different. I was really surprised to see Nurse penalized this much so far, does he have a reputation for incurring them?

Give them a few games to get back in the groove and they will be fine. I watched all of Klefbom's games last season and he was incredible compared to that first period. It's obvious that they are nervous, especially since Calgary stole all of the momentum early.

That's because most of them are in the NHL.

This board overreacts to everything... Drop the puck on the NHL season.

I think you need to be the one to get over it. at least wait till the season starts before you start pissing and moaning about the oilers, considering this team tonight, 95% of them will never play for the oilers anyway.

the outcome of this tourney has zero bearing on the NHL oilers of this season. so stop your *****ing and just enjoy early September hockey.

Not a surprising result so far.

The forwards are part of the "maybe 4th liners at the NHL level" group, and the defense is headed up by a guy who hasn't played hockey in close to a calendar year, along with a raw 18 year old defensive rookie.

Calgary has players out there who have played games in the NHL.

No ****. That period wasn't impressive by any means but it's the first game in a damn rookie tournament. Some people around here just love to ***** and whine I suppose.

So ok... They've had one pre game skate together, no practice sessions, they've never played together before and it's been one period. *shakes head*

Klefbom still has time to wink into some souls . . .

I have been impressed with Khaira.

In his interviews he kind of seems like a ****** but he is not really a bad guy to chat with. All part of the act either way i guess.

Man, Kerr is annoying. I have to keep the volume low so he doesn't shatter my eardrums.
