That Forsberg shootout goal was nasty. Thanks for sharing the video.

Bitetto on the PP makes it 2-1 Preds early in the second.

Back to back goals give the Lightning a 3-2 lead in the second period after Geoffrion attempts to drop the gloves with Witkowski, but goes down quickly and puts the teams at 4 v 4.

5-2 Bolts as Drew Olson beats Hellberg stick side. Still in the second period.

No doubt. Wondering if Hellberg will get the full game today and Mazanec a full game vs. Boston tomorrow?

Tampa's goalie left due to injury holding his left arm. New tender in for Tampa, lets see if the Preds can't mount a comeback...

Nope. At the end of two it's Tampa 6, Preds 2.

Shots are 21-21. From reports, it's not Hellberg's day.

Carter Hutton better be a "diamond in the rough", or whatever.....

Forsberg makes it 6-3 with an unassisted goal three minutes into the third.

Final score Tampa 7, Nashville 4.

Bitetto buried his second of the game in the third to make it 6-4, but J.T. Brown converted an empty net short handed attempt late to seal the victory for Tampa.

Hope to see a boxscore and maybe some video later. Preds back at it tomorrow afternoon against Boston.

Diaby had shoulder surgery at the end of last season and did not participate in the Draft combine or the Preds summer prospect camp as a result. He has not been cleared to participate in training camp and will return to junior this season.

You're not the only one...

Heading to the final day of rookie camp on Tuesday and also hitting the first day of main camp this week.

How come guys like Chase Balisy, Zach Stepan and Jimmy Vesey are not attending? Have their seasons already started?
