I should hope so. But not stated like that. I tend to respond to hyperbole like that.

There is always capable NHL goalies on the market and its been proven that you don't need an elite NHL goalie to win cups.
Niemi, Crawford, Thomas, MAF all have a cup and none of those guys are elite goalies.
While I agree with you that you can find future potentially Elite goalies several years after they are drafted... if that was what you were trying to say.

What nonsense are you spouting about the team Canada invite, a multiple Vezina winner and former top 5 pick... all of them with a Stanley Cup ring... these are NOT Elite goalies?!?!?!

As it stands we need some of these players to pan out.
Ehhh, not one of these Oilers kids is expected to compete to get an NHL job.

You can't say that about the Jets or the Flames prospect teams we've played.

Sorry..but this made me laugh after you pulled the Gretzky card in the defense of Rajala a few weeks back.

I'm saying trying to spot an elite goalie at 18 years old is a crap shoot.
It's almost impossible.

And yes, I'm saying that in no way shape or form is Crawford, MAF, Niemi, or Tim Thomas on anybody's top 5 goalie in the NHL radar. Yet, all of those guys have a cup in the last few years.

Why does Miller keep finding himself at the point on the PP? He's forcing himself to that position and he doesn't need to.
