Flyers: I see Section 101 within first ten rows available for $120 which sounds like a good deal - is it? Is that the side the benches are on and would I get blocked a lot (same relative seat in 113 is like $50 more)? Also see seats in 104/105 around Row 20 which are $150-$170. More fun to be in the corners where the Flyers are shooting twice?

Eagles: Obviously the cheapest available are Standing Room - where are those and how is that for a first time experience at the Linc? Most reasonable for Lower Level are the End Zone seats; is one end better than the other as far as taking in everything, availability of replays, etc.?

Finally, seems like if I stay with friends in the Liberty Place vicinity it's fairly easy to get to and from the stadiums on Public Transportation?

Thanks!

i'd say $120 isn't bad if it's the pens or rangers, but you might see better stubhub prices for the ducks and canucks. it is the side the benches are on, and if you're 10 rows up, that's just about perfect if you're sitting lower level IMO. I don't know if being in the corners is more fun or not, personally I prefer the side angle view.

my 1st linc experience was standing room only for the eagles, it's ok if you don't want to spend too much, but it can be hard to get a good sightline on the field if you're short like me. so long as you don't mind being on your feet that long it's not so bad. my only suggestion would be to make your way to the front gate at least 1 hour prior to kickoff, the heightened security is insane and the guy searching me wouldn't even take my number. there's huge HD screens at either end, IIRC.

and the broad street subway will take you right to the stadiums, just hold your breath when you get on at city hall.

The Linc is a pretty terrible stadium if you are in the upper level, I went to a game last year on the long end upper level, can barely see the players.

Hey there,

I'm a huge hockey fan from Germany travelling through the northeast of the US in December to watch as much NHL games in 3 weeks as possible. My wife is a big Flyers fan and so Philly is a must stop for us. The perfect game would be against the Habs on Dec 12th.

Any idea how to get two single game tickets for that day? Is there a date set when public sale starts? Will there be a sale over the internet? Maybe a little cheaper than on stub hub? Would prefer upper level seating, to keep costs under control.

Flyers website not much of a help unfortunately. Didn't even find a contact email for ticket requests.

Thanks in advance.

The public sale generally happens in September and the purchase of tickets via the internet has been an option. When the information for the current season is published, it will be placed in this thread, too. This is some information with seating plans, season ticket info and other plans, which may or may not answer some basic questions:

An updated answer for the question posed above:

Individual game tickets are expected to be put on sale Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. ET to the public.

Also, the Flyers will be commemorating the 1974 Cup championship on January 25, 2014 (anniversary).

Anyone looking for a single seat to any games? I have a single on the aisle in 204A, the end where the Flyers shoot twice. I'll take an offer for any game (besides opening night) but due to vacation and my work schedule, three games I'm especially looking to move are 10/29 vs. ANA, 11/1 vs. WSH, and 11/29 Black Friday vs. WPG. PM if interested.

Games already sold:
10/17 vs PIT
11/29 vs WPG

I have both, but I am actually asking face value for them since the demand on them is crazy. One is also a 1pm game so you know the crowd will be nuts.

Since I renewed early I also get first dibs on single game tickets. On sept 10. If you have a game in mind, I can try and get it.

I just called the Flyers ticket representative listed on the promotion. It's an offer for 2 free club box seats for upcoming preseason games. The 3 games you can choose from are 9/16 against the Caps, 9/17 against NYR, or 9/24 against the Debs. I got the tickets for the Debs game. It's a limited time offer so call ASAP if you want them. Hope that helps you out.

I'm looking for 2 tickets for Saturday, October 5th. Flyers in Montreal. I waited too long to ask my usual connect and hoping one my Montreal Flyer brethren will see this and help out a good ol' boy going home to see his Mama. Lower bowl preferably, have to be together though.
