EDIT: BJ beat out Vince Young, Tim Tebow, and John Crompton (The guy who beat him out of the TN job) to stay in the NFL.

Note: Montreal has the CFL rights to both Tebow and Young. And they lost their CFL HOFer QB probably for the year...
So much for that. Coleman was released today after the Packers signed Seneca Wallace.

I'm pretty sure he's still practice squad eligible so they might try to sign him to there. I know they like him and McCarthy loves developing QB's and with Wallace being old I would imagine they would like him back for next year.

*Sighs, seeing the spot where he poured one out for Wade Belak and pours one out to Lokomotiv*

Titans beat the Steelers 16-9, in what was probably the single-worst game of the afternoon slate.

The only problem with the first weekend of NFL football is that when the Packers lose, I have no consolation, because hockey season hasn't started and the Brewers are... well, yeah.

Titans with the epic choke job

how many times will this scenario play itself out in the NFL before coaches quit doing it:

1.Have the ball and the lead late in the game
2.Run two basic, right up the middle runs for little or no gain to kill some clock.
3.Realize you really do need at least one first down, so on third down try a short pass that is incomplete, stopping the clock.
4.Punt
5.Play "prevent" defense
6.LOSE

The problem is, very few people - coaches or players - understand the concept of "clock management" when it doesn't pertain to "trying to score a touchdown with one heave of the ball."

I know Joel Staves doesn't understand it.

My Chargers pulling the "upset" against the greatest team in the history of the NFL, Chip Kelly's Eagles. Next up.....the Titans. Can't wait for Sunday.

The did not play prevent defense on the last drive, they ran stunts and played man to man. They were pretty much played the same way the entire game it's just the Texans made huge incredible plays.

Any news on Locker?

Sucks it happened to him, I don't think Fitz and CJ () can carry this team.

If we have to draft a new qb though this is the year for it.

Teddy Bridgewater
Tajh Boyd
Aaron Murray
Johnny Manziel
