I'd be sitting in Tampa (I know it's not WFC but comparable with site lines due to where I am) basically on the blue line.

It would be where the Flyers attack 2 times... one behind the lightning bench, and the other looking at the benches.
Row 7 or Row 12...

any insight would help me book this tonight.

I didn't think tickets in tampa would be 140 per seat for such a southern market. LOL

EDIT: thanks for the input orangecrush

2nd edit: I guess based on your response the row 12 is a safe bet and will give me the better of the 2 site lines.

Eklund says something with Blues & Pietrangelo should happen soon.

Hey does anyone know if any of the Flyers preseason games will be broadcast on TV or the via the Flyers website? I remember a few were in years past but the Flyers website doesn't have any broadcast info up.

The St. Louis Blues & Pietrangelo camp have broken off talks. Alex will not be in camp.

Holmgren, the time is now.

Prepare for the wave of Blues fans brushing it off as normal negotiation tactics.

He won't be traded, and I'm sure he'll get signed eventually. You have to think that this sets a bad precedent for future negotiations though, especially when they're negotiating his UFA years.

I don't really believe that, if the Blues pony up the dough, he'll sign. But I wonder if they are hung up on years or $.

And I'll never believe that somebody won't be traded. Boston just traded Seguin. Unless you are basically a Top 1 or 2 in the league, I think everybody has a price.

I thought I read that AAV is the thing holding it up, but it's only like a million dollars or so. I don't think they'll trade him now is what I meant. They could look at a trade in the future if negotiations continue to sour.

BTW, Ilya Bryzgalov who has given a 9/56M contract by the Flyers, MAY be offered PTO contract with the Panthers.

Big swing and a miss by Holmgren.

Bryz in Florida....yeah have fun in the sun Bryz. Last place a goalie who has lost his passion for hockey should play in. At least he's closer to Cape Canaveral...

Oshie and Pietrangelo for Rosehill and Cleary!! Make it happen Homer! (Oshie just because...favorite player and all, he should probably be on my favorite team)

Probably realistically would cost us Schenn/Couts, Simmonds/Voracek, Coburn, Laughton, and 1st(s). Maybe even more. Soooooo nevermind

Seriously, Pietro is everything this team needs. I know Karlsson is more gifted offensively, but I find Pietro to be the best all around young D-man in the league.

I have been saying watch the contract negotiations with the Blues and Pietrangelo for months now. If he goes into the season without a contract, that could be the turning point for them to think trade. December 1st is the day he needs to play or he won't be eligible to play and I believe will become a UFA if no contract is ever signed at years end. Now that won't happen, but let's hope it goes on longer and longer, because that increases the chances of him being trades.

Also on a side note, I just love that Blue fans think if they would trade Pietrangelo they would get Giroux, it's asinine to be honest. I understand what they are saying he would be the only option for us to give them for them to trade him, but Giroux is much more established and overall better player. Funny how some say they wouldn't make that trade, because I think every GM would probably.

If you have negotiation failings, I would think the players value would go down by quite a bit wouldn't it? I mean, ****, what did Phoenix get for Turris? Rundblad?

I wouldnt be shocked if Florida invited Thomas to camp as well.

I think you would still see a team pay a premium for Pietrangelo if it ever happened. I would trade anyone besides Giroux on the team to get him too. He will be a staple on the back end for the next 10/12 years.

It's hard to gauge his trade value though, but Weber certainty had more and we offered Mez, Read, 1st and 2 seconds. I understand that didn't get it done, but we had the opportunity for an offer sheet as well. One of the young centers would need to be dealt, and add whatever you want. No blue fan will ever take the deal, but it's never up to the fans that dictate what a team's GM does.

Thomas & Bryz invited to FLA training camp. Nice. That should be entertaining.

I hope he's their goalie so that we have 89% and above chance of scoring on him when we take a shot the 3x the Flyers play Florida this upcoming season...

Aaron Ward: Ilya Bryzgalov’s name has come up with the Panthers. There has not been an offer, but it has been contemplated.

Here is the Pietrangelo story.

Quote:
“We’ve worked in earnest with his representative trying to get him into training camp,” Armstrong said. “Last night, we gave it a last-ditch kick at the can around 8 or 9 o’clock at night. It didn’t hold. So from this point forward, he’s not in camp and we treat him like an injured player.

“Sidney Crosby missed a lot of time with concussions (and) the Penguins went on. That’s our job responsibility. If he misses a week, a month, a year, we’re not really sure… but he’s not here now and we have to move forward.”
Quote:
“I’ll take Alex’s perspective … he thinks he’s made us a hell of an offer…I disagree,” Armstrong said. “We think we’ve made him a hell of an offer…he’s disagreed. That’s where we’re at.”

Asked Wednesday how large the financial gap between the sides is, Armstrong replied: “Big enough where he’s not in camp.”
Couple of interesting statements in there.

I think we could easily afford him. Seriously Homer, make it happen, especially if it's for less than what we tried to do with Weber.

Coburn, Read and maybe a 1st (2014 or 2015) for him? Or that low balling it?

Timonen-Pietro
Streit-Schenn
Gus-Grossmann
Mez-Gervais

For the future:

Morin-Pietro
Hagg-Schenn
Gus-Ghost

Something like that?
