It's cool seeing Danny Briere, Bobby Ryan, and Justin Williams have been practicing with the #Flyers.

Ron Hextall said he and Paul Holmgren are looking at 3-4 NHL veterans for tryouts and he wasn't sure whether Simon Gagne would get one

Nothing really i was busy most of the day but saw that Morin put on weight and seems like Homer is high on Taylor Leier.

Also Tye McGin wont be in rookie camp...not sure why?

I know it's probably listed somewhere but I can't find it. What time does the training camp start on Thursday?

I'm hoping to get to the one on Saturday, I'd love to have the kids exposed to it without dropping 300/400 on tix.

VandeVelde Chris, Delisle Steven, Orlando Todd (look at the size of that dude) and Clarkson Doug must be Phantoms tryouts.

Interresting to see how many guys they are keeping around like Leier and Ghoul. It should be good for their development to play with men for a few days. Also I see that they are giving a longer look to Nemec.

note that 2 of the players are Wellwood and Pronger so there really aren't as many as are listed.

I see that this VandeVelde dude played 11 games for the Oilers last year. does anyone know the story on him? Did he sign a contract with the Phantoms. Game style? I have to assume checker based on his AHL stats.

It's strange there is no TV or Web broadcast of the final two preseason games.

I see that Raffl has been given a "NHL number" of 12 and Cleary is taking Wellwoods 11.

There is going to be quite a log jam for forwards in the AHL this year. That should actually be a pretty decent team for once. Its about time.

NHL Network-US added preseason games which now includes the Flyers-Caps' game, a late addition to Washington's home TV schedule. The preseason schedule in this thread has been updated.

The Devils' game, as of now, has no broadcast. The Devils, Islanders and Rangers home regular season TV schedules have not been added to the NHL link, either.
