Me neither, but I think that's the standard for a non-Canadian.

Sweden, Germany, & Switzerland usually spin around the top 3. Team USA occasionally gets up there, but definitely not this time.

In 2010 all jerseys were good. If IOC allowed normal logos on the front it would be much better.

Germany black was the best.

IMHO best Nike jerseys were at 2002 Olympics. All jerseys were excellent. My favorite

Agreed! I also loved Team Canada 1996 W/C Jersey with the flowing flag at the bottom of the back of the jersey. I think the Czech's and some others had them too, but not all teams.

Czech Republic is so nice, I bought one in Sweden during the WC. unfortunately I didn't realize the letters would look AWFUL since they didn't stitch them on. Stupid printing with retarded shape... Still a beautiful Jersey! Printed Jagr #68 on mine .

Same but since our flag has way more yellow in it than blue I get it. Blue one still looks better.

Really... Maybe you should consider new lenses (if you wear any?)
Just look on the flag to the left in my sign.

All military and ceremonial outfits in Sweden are mainly blue as well... It's just tradition that keeps the jerseys yellow, nothing more.

Hahaha I feel so ashamed. This is proof that the brain completely shuts down when you've been up over 24 hrs. I know what the flag looks like since I was born in Sweden 22 years ago, and I still live here.

I've never felt so ignorant/dumb. I'm never gonna post again when I'm tired. I can't believe that I actually mixed up the colours of our flag. Wtf is wrong with me?! Especially considering when I've played for some of the underage national teams in football (aka soccer for all those NA out there).

Last time i post that late ever again haha .

I like the shoulder thing Canada has used the past few years, it really makes all players look like they tackle really hard. It's the same thing with Boston.

Definitely black German jersey. The logo is badass, but I think in the end this has more to do with the colors than the desing itself. Yellow-black will obviously create be a bit more striking contrast than the usual red-blue-white that every other teams has. One can't change the flag.

I'd like to see the national jerseys become a bit more retro-like than even some of the retro attempts so far... and complete opposite what some of the 2014 Sochi jerseys look like. I guess I mean mostly thicker stripes or something like that, a bit like the long-time trend in the NHL. Maybe Europeans just don't get jersey design, considering how the average European hockey club's jersey identity consists of ten ads.

Why hillbilly trucks have the coat of arms of Luxemburg?

Didn't Norway have something similar to this? I think it looks very plain and nice. Retro. I like it.

Best looking? That will not be Russia's olympic jerseys. Bif time fail. Won't even post them. But as long as the guys in those jerseys win I'm fine.

No, not officially. The yellow version leaked last week, but the blues are yet to be seen.

Help me understand...

Why is Sweden allowed to use the same jersey over and over again but Canada and the U.S. are not?

That question makes no sense. You should ask why all other countries are not as stubborn about the traditional design as Sweden is.

edit: not sure if you were referring to the association logos (see below) or the terrible Sochi jerseys.

Because the IOC doesn't allow the logos of the national associations on the jerseys, at least visibly. The Hockey Canada logo, Team USA logo and the V-shaped lion logo of the Finnish jersey are among those.

The Tre Kronor, however, is not the logo of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. Theirs is actually the Viking ship you often see emblazoned on their shoulders.

If Sweden had that as visibly on their jerseys as aforementioned countries, they'd be a subject of some redesigns as well.

When the Olympics roll around, it's practically an invitation for some nutty clothes designers to go off the deep end. But the Swedes can simply tell 'em "nah, no need".
