Most have already started school and would be remiss in their academic aspirations to miss a week of class for camp. Additionally, NCAA regulations would make the player's pay their own way through camp. Summer prospect camp is for NCAA bound players, but they do not attend main training camp.

Preds and Bruins skated to a 2-2 tie this morning to wrap up the prospect tournament.

The Preds and Bruins each finished the tournament with a 1-1-1 record while Florida beat Tampa Bay this afternoon to win the tournament with a 2-1-0 record and dropped Tampa to a 1-2-0 record.

No word on scoring yet, but Mazanec started and played the whole way in net today for the Predators. There is no video up from today on Florida's site yet either. Hopefully they will upload highlights and the shootout in the morning.

Scoring was Shalla and Girard

that page is, to put it mildly, whacked

Radulov? with his number still on there
Soin?(born in 1982... must suck to be a 31 year old prospect)
Glazahev/Shafigulin(from the '03 draft class I believe)
and many others...

can someone email the Preds website person and suggest an update??

At least Roussel isn't listed.

wow, for the whole prejudice we seem to have against russians, there sure are alot listed on our prospects roster...and they're all 28+; must take them longer to mature...

Due to poor ice conditions at Centennial Sportsplex, the Predators will be holding the first day of training camp at Bridgestone Arena instead. No word on whether or not it is open to the public yet...

As many of you know, the entire ice systems at Centennial are beyond their last legs and scheduled to be replaced next summer. A temporary ice system was put in place this summer to make it through the season, but it apparently has not been able to keep up with the increased activity and heat/humidity from the past week leading to the change of venue...

I thought Cehlin and Cullen looked pretty good this morning.

Now that the white team is starting, I'm excited to see what Leipsic looks like.

Figured that would happen. The ice is beyond screwed up at Centennial right now. To bad the Hickory Hollow rinks aren't open yet.

That white team is loaded with big guys and/or physical players. Legwand, Budish, Clune, Hendricks, Gaustad, Watson and Ekholm are all either over 6'2" or over 210lbs or both.....

Looking at our roster overall, we're a much bigger team now, especially on defense.

Weber/Jones/Ekholm are all 6'4" or taller.

How's Seth lookin? Any visible ailments from Wilson?

Seth Lake ‏@SLakePreds
Salomaki skating as a center through line rushes. Wilson - Cullen - Stalberg skating together as a line too.

Interesting line.

PS Appreciate the rapid updates Seth. Cheers.

Via @JoshuaCooper, NSH team slogan is "Play like a Predator". I assume that means use awesome weapons and jungle armor, not "be invisible."

my take aways from it.

Stalberg seems excited to be here
Hendricks doesn't miss and is the loud guy that tries to get everybody going.
Jarvinen, Ruth, and Ekholm were all being very physical.
Leipsic is fast and has great hands but looks like he doesn't care to be out there.
Tousignant is pretty good, gritty, speedy and physical when he needs to be.
Weber seemed to have fun.
Forsberg and Jones are going to make the squad and be intricate parts to the team. Jones is extremely good, i can't wait to see him play in games.
Rousell looked good as well.

I could see that 7th d-man being a fight between rousell or jarvinen.

That's odd. He was mostly playing wing in Kärpät. How has The Bull looked anyway?
