You don't suddenly turn white everywhere.

Vitiligo is the skin condition that leaves patches of your skin pale, but you have it at birth and it spreads over time. Jackson and Sosa just showed up white one day, that isn't Vitiligo thats cosmetic surgery.

Yeah, you can see the difference. Looks like the same thing Michael Jackson did. Everybody started saying he looked weird so he decided to throw some more bleach on it and of course, it only makes him look weirder. But he probably looks in the mirror and thinks it looks phenominal.

If he wants to be white, that's cool. I like it, too.

The announcement is coming at 6 p.m. Illini time.

Aaron Cosby had a big role in this recruitment. Based on this tweet, the Crystal Ball predictions, the proximity to home, the public comments about the liking of the playing style, and the trust in the coaching staff, I think he's coming to CU.

All eyes on Cliff, D.J. Williams, and Charles Matthews if Quentin comes. I love JFG so ****ing much. He's such a beast.

All I care about is Jahlil Okafor. Mostly because we'd get Tyus Jones, too.

"We" as in Purdue? That'd cause a lot of drama if the best player in the country shunned Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, etc. and went to WL.

I love Seinfeld as much as anyone but that was not one of his classic jokes. I don't know why people get so hung up about it. Nobody really thinks they are part of the team, especially when talking with other fans. "We" actually makes sense in a place like this since there are so many fans of all of the teams, and I use it sometimes in person too, just a habit. I think a lot of people do. And it's kind of funny too because Jerry Seinfeld is a HUGE Mets fan. It was a good joke and it was funny, but let's not take it too seriously.

I also think there is a right and wrong way to do it too that can make everybody happy.

"We scored a huge touchdown!"

No, "Tillman scored a huge touchdown!"

"We won!" "I can't believe we came back!" That's fine.

I just not a fan of using the term we when referring to a team. You don't play for them, you don't work for them, and in Murray's case, you certainly don't attend either school. I tend to use we to describe IU around my other friends who are alums, because it is more of a 'we' when you earn a degree somewhere and make the financial commitment to the university. But the Hawks, Sox, or Bears just aren't a 'we' to me.

Others feel differently.

If you go to games and/or buy merchandise are you allowed to use "we" then?

I honestly try to stay away from that as well. It is pet peeve of mine (albeit a minor one).

Cliff Alexander has also reversed course and will now be doing an official visit to CU in October.

Its his last official visit and happens on home coming. If he gets out of Phog on the 4th without committing, I feel like Illinois has a chance.

If he gets out of there, Self just didn't give him enough cash.

I know I've ranted about this before, but come on, ESPN is especially guilty of this, unacceptable for even a small newsletter, but this is just embarrassing.

Quote:
Bonds gave the testimony before a grand jury in December 2003 after prosecutors asked him whether Anderson had ever given him "anything that required a syringe to inject yourself with."

Bonds referred to his father, former major leaguer Bobby Bonds, when he responded "that's what keeps our friendship. You know, I am sorry, but that -- you know, that -- I was a celebrity child, not just in baseball by my own instincts. I became a celebrity child with a famous father. I just don't get into other people's business because of my father's situation, you see ... "

Barry Bonds passed away in August of that year.

A federal jury in April 2011 found baseball's all-time home runs leader guilty of obstruction as a result of that response.
As for the case itself, as much as I dislike Bonds, I really admire him and Anderson for their loyalty. You don't see that kind of loyalty very often these days.
