Who hits Waivers?

So, who on your team is potentially headed to waivers?

Jim O'Brien - 4th line grinder, good wheels, forechecker
Mike Hoffman - slow developing scorer, lightweight, fast, injury prone?
Stephane DaCosta - Skilled small scoring center

I can't see Hoffman or Da Costa being waived. JOB maybe.

Probably just Holzer for the Leafs and Trevor Smith if he has to clear

Patrick Eaves and Jordin Tootoo if they aren't traded. Cory Emmerton if Darren Helm is healthy.

The Islanders rarely waive anyone, but Joe Finley is a very likely candidate this year. There is a bit of a numbers game on the blue line.

Had him on Long Island. Great teammate on the ice if you know what I mean. He wasn't a great or even good fighter but he was all we had for a while and he always answered the bell. For that he has my respect.

The Senators organization hasn't been able to figure out what to do with Da Costa for about a year now. They've entertained the idea of trying to move him and haven't had much success in finding someone to take him on. I wouldn't be surprised if he was waived...and clears.

Big fan of Da Costa and Hoffman. Hope the Leafs would consider one of them if they are on waivers. Also like O'Brien.

David Dziurzynski and Derek Grant will also likely hit waivers from the sens.

Kings:

I would guess Keaton Ellerby, Jeff Schultz, and Dan Carcillo, although any or all of them may stick on the NHL roster even after being waived.

You think they'll make the opening day roster? At whose expense?

I can't see Moen being put on waivers and if he does then he will most likely get claimed

You know someone good will be on waivers and HF will explode when not picked.

...after the season he put forth last year, if he can't be traded, the Habs just need to get rid of his cap hit...let him be someone else's problem to motivate.

I think the main possibilities for the Oilers are Philip Larsen and Corey Potter.
