Those promotions are pretty weak. Why dont they do a bobblehead giveaway night? Love those in Detroit. Ive never been to a Flyers game in Philly, have they ever gave away bobbleheads?

I am looking for tickets (at least 4) for the game against the Devils on 11/7.

FULL DISCLOSURE - I am a Devils fan and sth making the trip down from northern Jersey for the game (combining with a visit to my son, a sophomore at Penn).

I have four tickets at the Prudential Center (section 119, row 5) which we can swap (for either the 11/2 or 1/7/14 games in NJ) as part of the purchase (or not)

PM if anyone has any (whether you want to swap tickets (plus I would pay something, since the tix in Philly are more expensive) or simply sell)

Thanks!

Yes, there have been bobbleheads as part of promotion nights. Danny Briere had one early in his first season with the team.

Same with Peter Forsberg (I am told the date was December 6, 2005):

The Phantoms have had a few giveaways, too, involving former Flyers' players: Ron Hextall being one popular choice. In the past, Simon Gagne, Jeremy Roenick and John LeClair among others had similar promotions at Phantoms' games.

Flyers gave away cheap windshield ice scrapers before. They were only about 10 inches long you couldn't even use it

Hi guys,

Greetings from Germany. I'm currently planning a trip to the US and Canada and thought about visiting (among others) the Flyers game on Mar 11 against the Devils.

I tried the official NHL link which lead to ev15.evenue.net but I have been getting timeouts for several days now. Do you know whether this is still the official site to get tickets?

Apart from that, I just found out about stubhub. What are your experiences when it comes to validating if a ticket is valid or not? As you probably understand, I wouldn't want to fly all the way and not be able to enter the venue

This is from the Flyers' web site and it seems to be operating:

Buy all my Tix on stub hub. I go to at least 5-10 games a year. Have never had a problem you can print the tickets out as soon as you buy them online for the most part

Try stub hub. Usually you can get them well under face value and you can search for multiple seats.

You can also try Craigslist and see if there are season ticket holders selling tickets. Usually they are selling for the seasons ticker holder price which is about 40% of face value and without tax and fees. Season tickets holders can send you an eticket that you print at home.

Thank you for your help. Good to know that season tickets are that much cheaper. I will definitely check StubHub for interesting offers. I also managed to access the evenue site. It is still pretty slow for whatever reason but it's enough to check for tickets.

Good luck tonight against Anaheim!
