I meant Sven on the 2nd.

And all 3 lines will see equal ES time so it doesn't matter about 3rd or 1st line its just a number not indicative of ice time.

Rangers are most likely:

Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
Kreider-Brassard-Callahan
Pouliot-Richards-Zuccarello
Pyatt-Boyle-Dorsett

McDonagh-Girardi
Staal-Del Zotto
Moore-Stralman

Fill in Kristo and Fast for Hags and Callahan to start the season.

Booth hasn't been cleared to play yet and Kassian is penciled in to play with the Sedins to start. I'm expecting something like this:

Daniel Sedin-Henrik Sedin-Zack Kassian
Chris Higgins-Ryan Kesler-Alex Burrows
Niklas Jensen-Jordan Schroeder-Jannik Hansen
Tom Sestito-Brad Richardson-Dale Weise
Dan Hamhuis-Kevin Bieksa
Alex Edler-Jason Garrison
Andrew Alberts/Frank Corrado-Chris Tanev
Roberto Luongo
Eddie Lack

The Jackets forward lineup is more likely to be as follows:

Foligno-Anisimov-Gaborik
Calvert-Dubinsky-Atkinson
Umberger-Johansen-Letestu
Comeau-MacKenzie-Boll
Skille, Norton on IR

Letestu could also end up playing C, or Dubinsky could end up on LW. It's also possible Umby and Foligno might get swapped.

Blueline pairings are anyone's guess. The ones listed are probable, but then again, Prout also spent a lot of time opposite JMFJ, so G-d and Richards only know.

Chara- Boychuk
Seidenberg-Hamilton
Bartkowski- McQuaid.

Replace Krug with Bartkowski.

I am hoping Knight makes the team but that 3rd line may actually be decent. Caron is physical and can score but this camp is his last shot.

They need to leave Merlot alone. It's the only line that isn't changing plus they're damn good.

Johnson's going to give Svedberg a run for his money I think.

Great problems to have. In Handsome Ralph I trust

Reasonable estimates put him as coming back sometime in December. Whether that's nearer to Thanksgiving or the New Year is unknown.

Yeah we have essentially 5 lines that are NHL caliber atm. So some of those lines will merge and 1-2 guys will be sent down. Will be interesting to see who's paired with Beauchemin when he's back which looks to be sooner than we thought.

Booth has yet to be cleared for training camp, but is listed day to day. Speculation suggests Jensen will be the primary target to play in his stead. Otherwise, Higgins will move up. Likewise, Schroeder is subject to change, as is Alberts.

Interesting... Hemsky-Hall Eberle/ Perron-Gagner-Yakupov is what I suggested on the Oilers' board.

Ehrhoff-Myers

Based on as of now before we start playing the guys on the inside for Detroit looks like:

Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Abdelkader
Franzen-Weiss-Alfredsson
Nyquist-Andersson-Bertuzzi/Cleary
Miller-Emmerton-Cleary/Bertuzzi

Kronwall-Ericsson
Smith-Quincey
Kindl-DeKeyser

Doesn't reflect what Wings' fans like but reflects Babcock's lines.

Based on the lines seen on the three squads at training camp, this might be the plan for Trotzy and the gang.

Forward lines:
Wilson-Cullen-Stalberg
Nystrom-Fisher-Hornqvist
Bourque-Legwand-Smith
Beck-Spaling-Forsberg

D-man pairings:
Ellis-Weber
Jones-Klein
Josi-Roussel/Bartley

Scratches/Fill-ins:
Clune-Gaustad-Hendricks

Goalies:
Rinne
Hutton

That would most likely be the best and most expensive 5th line in the league.

Hawks forwards should look more like this....

Bickell - Toews - Kane
Sharp - Kruger/Handzus - Hossa
Saad - Shaw - Hayes
Bollig - Kruger/Handzus - Smith

I see Kruger as the better fit at 2C to platoon with Handzus with Saad being more natural at the wing and better on that 3rd line with Shaw and Hayes. Hayes has been extremely impressive at camp so far and is starting to win over a bottom 6 spot in favor of guys like Morin or Beach.

Andy Greene will be with Larson for sure. Fayne most likely with Volchenkov, leaving salvador and zidlicky. First line as of now looks like Elias Zajac Jagr also. Josefson will not be the 3rd line left wing, that's for certain. And now we have to slip Brunner somewhere on the 2nd/3rd line.

i know every post here re: Preds has BECK pencilled in, but the cold hard facts remain... he's Milwaukee bound to start the season, and he'll get a ton of ice there, and when Trotz needs a top 6 guy, he'll be a callup.

Or... there'll be a deal prior to start the season that may relieve the glut, but Gaustad, Clune and Hendricks are more likely to be the 4th line than the fifth...

Not a bad looking line up at all. That 3rd line could be a nightmare for other teams.
