Best duo you think is/was more effective...? Pronger/Nied Leetch/Zub

93-94: Brian Leetch & Sergei Zubov

Leetch: 23-56-79 (11-23-34 playoffs Conn Smythe)
Zubov: 12-77-89 (scoring leaders NYR)

Or

06-07: Chris Pronger & Scott Niedermayer

Pronger: 3-14-17 (on pace for 73pts)
Niedermayer: 5-11-16 (pace for 70pts)

Wich was/is the best duo between them.

Too soon to tell. Leetch/Zubov won a cup, Neids/Pronger have never played a playoff round together.

I agree with Nalyd Psycho its a little too soon to tell what Pronger and Neids can/will do. But the Ranger fan in me says no one can beat Leetch & Zubov

Not that they ever won a cup, but I'd like to see some numbers for MacInnis/Prongs in the STL days

Offensively it was generally one or the other, it was their defensive ability that made them stand out. Winning back to back Norris' was cool to.

Best year was probably 98-99:
MacInnis: 82gp, 20g, 42a, 62pts, 70pim (Norris)
Pronger: 67gp, 13g, 33a, 46pts, 113pim

Has any team ever had 3 norris winners at the same time? I could only imagine how crazy anaheim would be if they signed Leetch as a depth move to play 4th defenseman. The crazier part is that they could probably afford it, if Leetch was willing to play out west I doubt he'd ask more than 1.5 or 2.0

I have never seen a better one-two punch than MacInnis, Pronger... one was always on the ice and the opposition always knew it.

I hated the Blues but the blueline was something special.
