Young stars game - Oiler reps??

Alrighty, here is a list of the players I beleive are still eligible for the youngstars game (from the Oilers).

Ales Hemsky
Raffi Torres - edit: sratch Torres
Jarret Stoll
Alexei Semenov
Marc-Andre Bergeron

Who do you think gets the call(s) from Edmonton?

I personally think Hemsky and Torres will get it.

I'd imagine Hemsky and Torres.. Semenov might be an outside shot.

Good call, I forgot that he was re-signed in the off season.

Hemsky and Torres. Hopefully it will have the same impact on them that if had on Horcoff last year. Could be a good second half of the season for Hemsky.

When do they announce the line-ups?
Id like to see Hemsky there for sure, might get him going again.
Semenov definetaly deserves it. Stoll I doubt, but id like to see it.

January 24th on HNIC during one of the double header games, most likely the leaf one.

I had no idea that the number of contracts determined something like that ... weird.

I think Torres will be there if there's no 'contract' thingy - Hemsky would be nice too (wasn't he suppossed to be last years? But got injured and Horcoff played?)

Last year when Horcoff played it did some good for his confidence and I think that carried over to the World Hockey Championships.

Semenov? I'm not sure - he's been playing well as of late but was sitting in the PB a lot during the top end of the season. What about Stoll? He's been quitely digging away?

The players have to be under 25 and on entry-level contracts.

Most likely Hemsky and Semenov...maybe Bergeron will have an outside chance, and possibly Stoll.
I think they have better candidates in the East, so I wouldn't be too surprised if a few Oilers get selected.

I think Hemsky and Semenov as well, but I would love to see Stoll get selected.

I'll throw a curve. Stoll, Hemsky, and Semenov.

i'd love to see Bergeron there, hasn't he been amongst the top point getters for rookie defencemen?

Bergy would be great in the four-on-four format too. I'd love to see him there.
