To be honest, not surprised at Leblanc. He was fine tonight, but let's be real here, he needs to continue to build on his game in the AHL. It's not like he can't be called up if he's doing well. There's simply no room.

I thought he would play another pre-season game. Quite surprised.

Thought Leblanc played well but after the season he had last year he is going to have to prove himself at the AHL level before he gets considered for the Habs

Probably more to come before the next game

Cutting Leblanc at this point is plain stupid. Even if you're not going to keep him you can't just give him one game...one game!!!!

Even St-Pierre will have more than one game!

Smells fishy to me...

I'm not speculating a trade but if Leblanc carries over this play to the AHL, he will be back soon enough

Why is everyone so sensitive about Leblanc. If he plays well he will get his chance.

While he still has alot to prove in the AHL, there is no way Leblanc deserved to be cut after tonights game..

Leblanc?!? Why? He was stuck with White and Moen tonight. This is more upsetting than it should be. That means that a guy like Patrick Holland and Michael Blunden are being kept around for longer. What about Thrower?

Look at the guys that didn't get cut, it's a joke and after the season Leblanc had, you would think they'd try to boost his confidence.

I'm sure Lefebvre will be happy to put Leblanc in his 4th line

Sucks for Leblanc to be cut, but perhaps they don't see a place for him in the team right now.

Good news is that he can go back to Hamilton with his head held high, and start the season off on a better foot than last year.
