What the hell are you talking about? Do you even pay attention to the games? This is the most physically involved Leblanc has ever been...

Anyway, I guess it's only a real issue if a guy like Thomas stays up over leblanc. Otherwise, same result in the end.

Did you watch the game tonight? He was one of the most physical player out there.

I just don't get why you are so sensitive about Leblanc (a potential 3rd line player). There are still lots of decisions to be made.

Realistically, when Gionta comes back where do you think Leblanc would play?

Personally I think Thomas is better suited than Leblanc for the role of a replacement Gionta to start the season.

Are these official? Any link?
If Leblanc was indeed cut I'm sure Therrien had a talk with him and told him not to worry because he played a good game tonight. He should be a leader as a two year vet in Hamilton, I think he's going to bounce (roar) back.

Why would that be an issue if management and coaches think Thomas has been the better player throughout camp?

Tired of this ... Leblanc is getting the Eller treatment ATM.

I'm not sensitive about Leblanc; I'm pissed that the better player was cut.

The only way this could make sense is Prust playing on 3rd, Bournival on 4th.

Let's hope it has the same effect on him.

Really weird that they cut LeBlanc that quick. Maybe they want him in Hamilton early so he doesn't get distracted by Habs camp and have a letdown being a late cut...

Leblanc is not Bergevin's player. Thomas is. Collberg is. McCarron is.

I don't think any of us was really a Leblanc believer before this camp, he just made us change our mind.

Mathias Brunet's take on the Leblanc cut

Mathias Brunet @mathiasbrunet
Qu'est ce qui se cache derrière le renvoi de Louis Leblanc? Rare qu'un 1er choix de 22 ans soit retranché si tôt; aimé sa fougue ce soir.

He hasn't. I question why we traded for him. Would've rather taken our chances with Kristo.

Becoming so mentally fragile and depressed about hockey that he needs a psychologist and the coach to be fired?

Not to worry.

Thomas will be sent down as well. Before the season starts.

Did people seriously believe that Leblanc would make it to Montreal to start this season? Check out our roster again. Maybe one spot until Gionta comes back. And there are players with more skill than Leblanc who will get a chance.

I really liked Leblanc's game tonight. He got a raw deal.

To me it looks like they're giving Thomas another chance in an effort to justify the Kristo trade.

I was. He looked good in the NHL. He wasn't perfect but had solid base, was encouraging. 1 bad year didn't make me forget he had some good instincts.

Still, who knows if he'd come prepared and he did, he looked like he used to.
