X has mono!

According to the AJC.

Looks like Coburn is going to get a good, long look on the blueline.

You mean we'll be seeing lots of Hnidy, I'd be quite surprised if Coburn plays himself into a regular job, unless Hnidy plays himself out of one.

With X sick and McCarthy's shoulder keeping him out of games, Coburn will have to get playing time...unless Hartley only plays 5 D.

I've had mononucleosis before it'll take 2 months of rest at the very least before he's 100% healthy again

What a ****!

J/K I've had mono before, and it's awful. All you can do is sleep and puke. I lost so much weight. It takes a long time to recover.

Considering Oystrick just got over mono, perhaps there's a question we should be asking...

Good thing DW didn't unload some Dmen for a center! Sometimes the best moves are the ones not made.

I've had it too...

the worst thing about it is that, in most cases, you still suffer from it after the fever and disease itself are long gone.

I've read about people who felt exhausted afterwards for a very long time, who got chronic headache and nausea or suffered a serious depression. In the very worst case, certain organs (like the liver) can get into bad medical condition.

I'm also still feeling its aftermath, as I never feel well rested, no matter how much I sleep. My doc found out that I still carry quite a high value of this virus in my blood. The only way to eliminate it is alternative medicinal treatment...
