How is it that TCN is unavailable in my area yet they still black out the NHL Network broadcast?

I just want to see an HD broadcast of Morin/Raffl/etc. before they get sent to juniors/AHL/etc.

I don't understand why - in this day and age of HD cameras and hundreds of channels and my $175 cable bill - I can't see these games.

So we watch the Flyers Caps last night squinting at crappy feeds on computer screens and then the highlights come on Sports Nite in crystal clear HD.

Dicks

Instead of spending millions of dollars on loser goalies maybe Uncle Ed can spend some money on making the technology on his teams website & in the WFC up to date.

That feed was absolutely terrible.

I know but still how about actually using the tv camera's & direct it from them so we could get better quality.

Honestly the Caps had a very quality feed from their practice rink for the rookies game. If they can do it from there the Flyers should able to do it from their actual stadium.

looks like part of the plan to recoup that lost revenue is to remove tony luke's pork sandwiches from the WFC and replace them with $7.50 "gourmet" hot dogs.

Probably designed in advance to get others ice time including the powerplay from what one article mentioned. No word of injury.

Huh? Another game? Are we planning to play 82 games in the preseason already?

He played last night. We're just rotating in a new group on defense to get them some ice time.

Morin is playing tonight? If true, sweet.

That list isn't confirmed but there have been instances of individuals playing after an announcement of being sent back to juniors. Tomorrow is a possible date for when further cuts will be announced.

Hartnell, Simmonds and Lecavalier appear to be one line.

Hartnell, Streit and Lecavalier have the "A" tonight.

I have a feeling this'll be the line during the regular season too. I know a lot of people think that Hartnell-Giroux-Voracek should be the first line but if Schenn is being moved to LW then I think it would make sense for him to play with Giroux and Voracek. Moving Schenn from center could be a bit tough for him but putting him with Giroux and Voracek should make it much easier. Having Hartnell, Lecavelier, and Simmonds on the same line would probably be pretty fun to watch too.

Anyone know what those dots are next to the names? At first I thought 'locks' for roster, as all are guaranteed to play this year, but I dismissed that as Streit has no dot.

My guess is that the total meets the League requirement of veterans dressed for each preseason game. I think the minimum number is eight. I don't see one next to Adam Hall, however, but he would be the 8th/9th with Streit.

Also, the expectation is that Morin will be paired with Streit tonight.
