What would you like to see from Alex Galchenyuk this year?

I'd like to see him play center and get around 35-40 points.

What would I like to see?

50 goals in 50 games, a Rocket Richard trophy win, a Hart, a Conn Smythe and a Stanley Cup Parade featuring him.

But being a bit more reasonable - 15-20 goals, 40 assists and maybe a slow transition to centre from the wing.

I see Galchenyuk as a great setup man and not so much a big scorer. 15-20 goals and 50-60 assists when he is in his prime.

It's crazy how Desharnais just messed up the whole plan for Habs at center. If he hadn't come along we'd have Pelks, Gal and Eller like it should be. Instead we have a midget playing at center that we have to try to accommodate at the expense of every other forward because of all his shortcomings. Only here can this garbage happen!

DD should be moved to the wing. 3rd line winger... depth scorer. That should be his role.

By the end of the year, I would like to see Galchenyuk transition to center, and have a 47+ FO per centage

20 goals / 35 assists / 55 points

Why? Because, last season he played with limited ice time and 9 goals and 18 assists in 48 games which is basically half of the season.

What franchise would draft a prototype 1st round center with all the skill and size you need to play in NHL and put him on the wing for an undersized 5'5 hobbit with limited skating ability. I'm seriously trying to think what team would not only have a 5'5 center to begin with, but go as far as take your future star out of his natural position.

Overall, just be more involved in the game... You can't be a top center and be as passive as he plays.
