Believe it or not I think Coburn will be the key to whether this defensive unit will be good or not this year. I'm hoping all those rumors of him being on the move serve as a wake up call for him.

Couturier looks much improved. He's no longer handling the puck like a grenade over the blue line. He's much more deliberate.

He needs to be on a line with some offensive talent. He can be such a great complement with a skilled puck carrier.

I don't know how you can he looks good or bad when he hasn't been challenged at all so far this game.

Is anyone with Comcast having issues watching this game? I just got home and tried to put the game on, but it won't let me put on MSG or TCN. It is very frustrating. I literally highlight the channel and hit "ok" and nothing happens. Or type in the channel and it just doesn't change.

Unfortunately, Laviolette's style doesn't seem to have changed at all. Which means we are still horrendous in our own zone.
