I only saw the start of the game, but I'm excited! I think the team is gonna be a lot better than last year. A LOT.

Our biggest problem last year was getting pinned into our zone and not having defenders who were capable of making passes to get out of the zone or skating the puck out of the zone. Morin is very very good at making a pass to a forward to get the puck out of the zone. That skill alone would have made him one of our best defenders last year.

You do not want to rush a guy based off of one skill. He has a chance of being extremely good and it is known that especially for defenders rushing them is bad idea. Morin is still extremely raw in a lot of categories.

I am not saying he should be up with the flyers, but I have been impressed with morin. Seems to try and apply the feed back given. Work ethic on the ice is high. Big time motor. Less raw than I expected. Seems to see the ice well. I think he could become a special player. Hopefully he keeps improving.

It will be re-scheduled though a specific time hasn't been announced. There were a few complaints.

I only saw the highlights, so please correct me if i'm wrong. It seems like Mason was playing really deep in his crease. Is that so?

I can't answer, but that does seem to be Reese's signature move.

Mason has been Meh-son to me...so so.

Actually I'm going to coin the name if he continues to just play ok..

I don't know..maybe it's preseason but he's not inspiring me like Bob when he was lights out his rookie year in the preseason and into the 1st part of the season. Emery looks a little more motivated or seasoned so far but it's early.

On the second goal 75% of his body was in the net.

Couturier looked like he had the puck on a string last night. Played really well.

Lecavalier is gonna really help the secondary scoring on this team. He just gets in the right places.

Morin was really impressive to me. He seems really calm and composed out there. He just looks like he has "it" to be the leader of a pairing on defense, something I think Coburn never really had/has.

But I read on the main boards that the Flyers had ruined his development and he was already a bust.

Yeah that's obviously true, were just saying that he looks good for an obvious bust... Like Shjon Podein good.

Mason has been Average, but to be fair in preseason, you have different Dmen in front of you each game, hard to get on the same page when its always different. Same goes with any goalie so far. Always takes a few to get in game mode for these guys, not worried.

Mason himself has created Reese for the stretch to end the year last year. He has made him more level headed and helped with his technique.

Honestly, this city has and will always put the blame on some suspect victims. Reese really can only work with what he is given, and through the years that hasn't been much at all. I'm not saying he doesn't do anything wrong, but he isn't the problem

I am willing to give him a pass on 2 of the goals, and he also made a few big saves .

Streit impressed me skating the puck out and making the 1st pass. Some had said he was dropping off, but looked good to me ? Hope last yr was just his knee.
