THROW Kovalev and Samsonov down the well !!!

Thats it ... Thats it !!!

I can't take this anymore, Lets talk folks

if you get rid of these 2 Bananas though what can we realistically get !

I know Kovy might be able to fetch us something good ! I saw Trade :

Kovalev, Aebisher and Samsonov

to L.A

For Conroy and, Cloutier ( cause we still need a backup ... ), then bring up Grabovsky and Kostitsyn and see what they are worth ...

of course this is in my dreams ...

Can't agree with this, a panic deal like that would hurt the team both on the short and long term. Kostitsyn and Grabovsky arent ready at this point. Conroy is another story, he hasnt been good. And Cloutier...well... He's been what you can call "the worst goalie in the league".

Well, I guess you either get somebody else's headaches or you get prospects at the deadline, neither of which I think is really Gainey's cup of tea?

Come the summer UFA bidding wars, and barring any dramatic turnarounds from the bananas in question, I expect I'll be ready to help push them into the well too. But until then, I guess I gotta try to hope things will somehow sort themselves out into yet another shining example of Gainey's genius.

Do you truly believe that Grabovsky and Kosts (and I'm not sure if you are referring to A or S) will be the answer.

Kovalev and Sammy seem to be getting their chances, to me anyways, they seem to create quite a buzz around the other teams net. They just don't seem to be able to put the puck in the net.

tell me .. are we in playoff in your dream ?

what about that :

Kovalev

to : PP blueline

for success

and

Samsonov

to: more ice time

for success

those guy are creatives .. don't know who's coaching PP ... but tell me how many times we dump the puck everywhere during the PP and lost it .. that's not called a turnover but wow! what's the strategy whit that? .. I know we've very good stats .. i don't care .. without that we could be top 3 easily.

Let the russians play the way they played during their career and u'll see some result .. they look like they've been brainwashed by M.Carboneau and cie.

Coaching staff have absolutly no confidence with our C right now .. how many times do we heard during the game " par mesure préventive" .. that suc*k let them play .. they r in the NHL.

I am the only one not automatically assuming Borat was being serious (although Roen might be on the same page as me)? He might be serious, but I'm not convinced. If serious however, trading for Cloutier? Why not just call up Danis who has worked his rear off in Hamilton the last few years and deserves at least a last chance to prove himself.

Anyways, instead of throwing them down the well, can't we throw them down an old mineshaft instead? If only to confuse some poor old farmer in the Australian outback who doesn't understand the sudden attention paid to him by a hyper active kangaroo desperately trying to get his attention.

In the Habs there is problem,
And that problem is Line 2 offense,
It is very very low,
Because Samsonov can't pass or shoot,

Throw the smurf down the well, (2X)
So my Habs can be champs, (2X)
We must make second line working, (2X)
Then we'll have a big party, (2X)

In the Habs there is problem,
And that problem is Jannah,
He gives away, gives away the puck always...
And never gets it back,

Throw Jannah down the well, (2X)
So my Habs can be champs, (2X)
We must make Mark Streit our lord, (2X)
Then we'll have a big party, (2X)

And if you see Patrick Traverse coming,
Be careful of his teeth,
Grab him by the jaw,
And when he starts stuttering throw him away.

Well, this idea, joking or not, would certainly get rid of the ENDLESS debate of how to motivate Kovalev and what is wrong with Samsonov and trade Ryder for a second line centre or move Higgins here or Johnson there or Bonk somewhere else. There is an awful lot of debate for two guys who should produce supposing I was the third person on their line.

Without Alex Kovalev we will be out in the first round. He is what will get us deep in the playoffs. Plus I dont mind paying outrageous prices for tickets to see him embarass the other team's defense.

Also, it might be wise to take advice from Borat as his whole bit was stolen and he has a million lawsuits against him.

Until our problem of a second line centre is resolved these threads of panic and despair are absolutely worthless and senseless... Gainey will make a move to surprise everyone and blow everyone out of the water before the trade deadline.

It's funny how Gainey's "expect the unexpected" really suits his style of management well.

I'd prefer:

Kovalev + Samsonov + Aebischer + 2nd round
for
Aucoin + Cullimore + Smolinsky + Lalime

That would be greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeat!!!!!!

No, no and no...

It will go like this...

When Higgins come back:

To Mtl: Brent Seabrook
To Chi: Tomas Plekanec, Ryan O'Byrne and 2nd rounder
*I know I'm dreaming

January trade:

To Mtl: Antoine Vermette and 3rd rounder
To Ott: Michael Ryder and Craig Rivet

Lines:`

Samsonov-Koivu-Kovalev
Higgins-Vermette-Latendresse
Perezhogin-Bonk-Johnson
Bégin-Lapierre-Kostsitsyn
*Downey

Markov-Komisarek
Souray-Seabrook
Bouillon-Dandenault
*Streit

Huet
Aebischer

Then, if Kost finally shows what he can do, Sammy could be traded by the deadline. Same thing with Aebi if a team is ready to overpaid for him. However, I would be happy with only the first two trades.

Let me dream!

Conroy? Kee-rist. I wouldn't touch him. I wouldn't trade Bulis or Berezin for Conroy. As for Cloutier, I've lived in BC long enough to know that your proposal is not a wise one. He's not bad, but he is certainly not clutch (not even in the regular season) and he can't complete a season without being injured. He's the goalie version of Samsonov-on-a-bad-year.

Trade one of them for some help on D. It wouldn't hurt to have another shutdown defenseman on the roster.
