Post Your Fantasy Team

Remember there being a similar thread last year, but haven't seen one this year. Post your team and rate/give advice to others. I'll get the ball rolling:

C John Tavares
C Jason Spezza
C Mikhail Grabovski

LW Taylor Hall
LW Evander Kane
LW Max Pacioretty

RW Claude Giroux
RW Joe Pavelski
RW Vladimir Tarasenko

D Shea Weber
D Dustin Byfuglien
D Dion Phaneuf
D Oliver Ekman-Larsson

W Alexander Burrows
F Cody Hodgson
UTIL Brent Burns

G Roberto Luongo
G Kari Lehtonen
G Corey Schneider

BN Slava Voynov
BN Jake Gardiner
BN Radim Vrbata
BN Sven Baertschi
BN Jonathan Drouin

Decently happy with this team. Stats are G, A, PTS, PPP, SHP, SOG, PIMS, FOW for skaters and SV%, SV, W, and SO for goalies. I had some goddawful luck with the guy I was going to pick getting picked the exact pick before me 6 (!) times.

I should have no problems scoring, and the defense + Hall and Kane should be pumping out PIMS. I'm also happy that I have 3 wingers also eligible as centres that should be racking up FOW from the wing. Grabs should bounce back, and Baertschi may emerge as a top 6 forward with ample PP time on a crappy Flames squad. Drouin for the hail mary lol.

I was on the wrong side of a run on goalies, and so I've got three question marks in net. Luongo could bounce back to Vezina numbers just as easily as he could completely implode, Lehtonen is a middle-of-the-road guy, but I have a hunch Schneider is going to see a decent amount of playing time this year. Probably won't help me with Ws much though.

Thoughts? How did your team shake out?

C-Thornton
C-Kopitar
LW-Hartnell
LW-Landeskog
RW-Malkin
RW-Nash
D-Burns
D-Shattenkirk
D-Bouwmeester
D-J. Schultz
G-Lundqvist
G-Rinne

BN-Brodeur
BN-Oshie
BN-M. Richards
BN-Clowe

Expecting bounceback seasons from Hartnell, Landeskog, and Clowe who will all provide me with a ton of penalty minutes. 9 team league with the stats: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, shots. For Goalies W, sv%, GAA, SO. Might have trouble scoring though. Probably dropping Richards and picking up another d-man.

10 teams, 5 keepers, 2nd year. Points = 1, PIM = 0.25/min, PPG = +1, D points = +0.5

Crosby (K)
Malkin (K)
Couture
Yakupov (K)
Gaborik
B. Richards
Skinner
Galchenyuk
Silfverberg
Perron
B Schenn

Pietrangelo (K)
Green (K)
Edler
Carlson
Gardiner

Anderson
Lehtonen
Smith

Relying heavily on bounce-back seasons and players hitting their ceilings after rough seasons (banking on a 70 pt season from Gabby)
Wasn't super thrilled with the picks but I'm happy I got Yakupov to replace Couture as my 5th keeper.

Goaltending looks like it may hurt you, at least for this year. Nice team otherwise

Would help if people posted the league size, really hard to rate a team when you don't know if it's a 5 person league or 15 person.

Pretty happy with my team overall. My LW are a little weak but they're all guys who will rack up hits and PIM so it should be fine. I'm happy with my D, though McDonagh probably won't get me a whole lot of points outside of hits and blocks. It helps that Burns can be used as a RW and a D, essentially giving me an extra forward. Overall I think it's a pretty deep team that should perform well in every scoring category.

I like it. Solid all throughout. I would swap Ryan McDonagh for a harder hitting defenseman who puts up good +/-

But yeah. I like it. Jealous of Getzlaf, really wanted him.

9 team ESPN league, total points.

G, A, PIMs, PP points, SH points, FOW, BLK, SOG, +/-
SV, GA, SO
3 C, 3 RW, 3 LW, 4 D, 2 G per day. 5 bench slots (I use 4 skaters and 1 goalie)

Ended up with third overall pick. 1st overall guy set autopick and ended up taking Zetterberg first
Crosby went 2nd, so I was quick to sweep up the #1 ranked player (Stamkos) at 3, although I would have chosen Crosby over him if I had the chance.

Centers:
Stamkos
Toews
Benn (C/LW)
Spezza
Brassard

Left wingers:
Marleau
D. Sedin
Skinner

Right wingers:
Eriksson (LW/RW)
Doan
Yakupov
Alfredsson

Defense:
Weber
Kronwall
Pietrangelo
Yandle
OEL

Goalies:
Lehtonen
Price
Hiller

Happy with my team. I want to tweak my wingers a little bit more and maybe get a different goalie through trade. Made a 3-way trade before the season started, in which I gave up Bobrovsky and Tarasenko for D. Sedin and Hiller. Risky trade, it may end up bad for me but I wanted more solidarity on the wing, D. Sedin>Tarasenko.

Did a snake draft with some friends. 11 teams, 9 forwards, 4 defencemen, 2 goalies, 1 rookie

Forwards

- Patrick Kane
- James Neal
- Matt Duchene
- Zach Parise
- David Backes
- Chris Stewart
- Mikko Koivu
- Mike Ribero
- Jonathan Huberdeau

Defence

- Alex Pietrangelo
- Kevin Shattenkir
- Slava Voynon
- Drew Doughty

Goalies

- Tukka Rask
- Marc-Andre Fleury

Rookie

-Sven Baertschi

I love my team, I've never been satisfied more after a draft than I have this year. Only thing that I would probably change is my rookie.

Thoughts?
