I got an Ibanez SA160... might actually be tempted to sell it... anyone interested?
It's in excellent shape... looks new except for a couple strings that need to be replaced...
Oh yeah, I've grown into a real pro at guitar over almsot a decade of playing it. It's my main instrument so obviously my favourite. I have a Seagull acoustic, a Fender Pacifica Telecaster and a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) Santana. I do hope to acquire more one day (have a good amp, had a wah pedal that broke, want to get some more accessories later on, not to mention a wire rack for some harmonicas so I can play both it and gee-tar at the same time), but money is tight and I've spent so much money on hockey junk too. Oh, I spread my wealth around to all the areas of interest.
60's Strat Re-Issue..............2001 Gibson SG Special Limited Edition
2000 Gretch Brian Sezter Hot Rod
That Setzer one looks pretty good!!
I've got one Ibanez electric guitar, but I'm playing more accoustic with a Sigma Guitar Acoustic/Electric. Don't know what the model is (I'm working right now, can't look), but let's say it's been in the family for at least 15 years.
My guitarists just bought a 5150 and a 6505 respectively and they sound ******* awesome. I'm assuming you're a metalhead?
hard rock mostly ... Dream Theater, Van Halen, Symphony X kinda thing ... but we play some harder stuff like In Flames and Arch Enemy too
the 5150 is good, I don't use the gain cranked up like most guys do since it becomes really buzzy. I'd like to get a Rivera K-Tre or maybe a Mesa Mark IV, not sure what will be my next amp.
I'm gasing for a Boogie Street Washburn Idol these days, they look awesome and have great features at a ridiculous price ... ebony fingerboard and everything for a grand
even though I'm no EMG fan I'm sure they could switch those out to Suhr pickups

Wow, I think you just named the favorite bands of all my band members. My drummer loves progressive stuff like Dream Theater and Symphony X and myself and my guitarists are really into that Euro metal scene (Arch Enemy, In Flames, etc...)
I'll agree with you on the buzzy sound of the 5150's when the gain is cranked. It actually kinda gets static-y almost but it seems to be what we need for what we play. I'll hook you up with a demo once we finish recording just to show you what I mean.
That boogie street is beautiful and with EMG's i'm sure my guitarists would have a field day
After years of Ibanez's, Kramer's custom guitars (Liberatore's).... every time I bought a guitar, I always said... "why didn't I get a Strat". So finally...my wife bought me one! It is a 1995 Custom Shop Strat, three color burst, rosewood.
The guitar just smokes.
Besides that... all I have left is a '72 Gibson L6-S (my first guitar) that I refretted and installed SD's and a 3 way switch, a all maple Norman b-15, and a Peavey bass with active pick ups.
All that into a JCM 800, single channel. Rat, Dunlop wah, Boss Delay, and few other odd balls.
My years of metal are all but over, but I play now more then ever.
I recently contributed four songs to the "Deadened" soundtrack! Extremely violent indie film, good fun. I dragged out my old Pantera/NIN riffs for this one.
