did anyone see the move Jarvinen put on starting at 0:56? I'm telling you, he needs to crack our 3rd d pairing.

He looks good. He's physical and seemingly NHL ready for sure.

Not happy with only 1 sog but I haven't seen any of the practices or preseason games so I can't judge. Hopefully on sunday he'll be playing in Nashville.

We all expect Jones to make the team, and so far, he's been paired with Klein on our 2nd pairing.

Anyone else notice a theme here that we've never really seen before? Everyone of the players are 6' and above. As a matter of fact, the forwards average 73.8" (6'1.8") and the defense average 74.8" (6'2.8") for an average of 74.2" (6'2.2") for the 18 skaters. Add the goalies in who average 75" (6'3") and it brings the total average for the 20 man roster up to 74.3" (6'2.3").

This team shouldn't be pushed around too easily...

Any radio for this game?

I don't see any listed on the Preds site. And I don't even see any listed for any of the games. This is dumb. Why are they not even on the radio, they have been in the past. Some teams (and not just canadian) have full TV and radio for their preseason games (home and road) and we can't even get a simple radio broadcast?!

I know it is absolutely ridiculous. I believe the game at Long Island is going to be broadcast up there so there will likely be an online stream for it. But that is all I could find on anything.

I have a business meeting tonight and will be unable to listen to the radio online.

I would greatly appreciate updates via twitter. Thanks in advance.

Go Preds.

12 Ryan Malone - 91 Steven Stamkos - 14 Brett Connolly
65 Vladislav Namestnikov - 27 Jonathan Drouin - 56 Nikita Kucherov
74 Ondrej Palat - 9 Tyler Johnson - 71 Richard Panik
76 P.C. Labrie - 38 Tanner Richard - 58 Geoff Walker

77 Victor Hedman - 53 Luke Witkowski
3 Keith Aulie - 62 Andrej Sustr
60 J.P. Cote - 55 Matt Taormina

35 Riku Helenius
31 Cedrick Desjardins

With the exception of Malone, the Bolts are going with a young lineup tonight, and our two worst goalies. Our young guys are pretty good though. Hoping for a good game.

Thank you for the lineup.

Only notables not in the Preds line up...

Bourque, Spaling, Smith, Legwand, Clunatic, Hornqvist
Ellis, Bartley, Josi

Am I missing anyone?

Training camp =/= NHL regular season.

Mike Santorelli shredded training camp and preseason, then was hot garbage when the real season came around. He wasn't the first, he won't be the last.

Jarvinen has looked good from what I've seen, and maybe I'd put him in over Ekholm as the number 7...but let's hold off on calling him a lock. It's hard to imagine that he's suddenly a solid number 6--after a pretty average first year in the AHL.

I think he's ready. I wouldn't be suprised if he makes it over ellis or ekholm. Jarvinen has better defensive skills than ellis/ekholm/bartley and he has this mean playingstyle. He and ekholm were great together in milwaukee.
