Philadelphia Eagles (NFL): Finally a home win!

Figured we need to start a new one.

McNabb getting his jersey retired tonight and the return of Andy Reid. Emotions will be through the roof tonight

Hopefully the crowd remains civil and gives both McNabb and Reid solid cheers. I was far from a fan of either towards the end, but they both were instrumental in bringing the Eagles back to a level of relevancy.

I hope the boos reign down for all four quarters.

I'll be there, with horrible seats, cheering both Reid (before and after the game, not during) and McNabb. Shame on all you hypocrites who welcome back Eric Lindros with open arms after the grief surrounding his career but will boo the most successful coach and QB in the franchise's history!

I'll be there too. Section 206.

Gonna cheer for McNabb.

I'll be watching on TV from the safety of my living room sofa. I'll have my popcorn ready for sure.

I really hope we don't treat McNabb and Reid like scum. They deserve better than that.

Unfortunately there will undoubtedly be those who boo both

The only thing I want from this game is the defense not to fail hardcore.

I'm wondering how good the Chiefs defense really is. They're top 10 in all the defensive categories but they've only played the Jags and the Cowboys so I guess I can't look too much into the numbers.

3rd and 19 is so easy and cant tackle worth a ****. This is the worst Def maybe ever for Eagles. If Alex Smith wasn't a CFL calibre QB, game could be over already.

Defense is not good, but you can't ask them to do much more than they have in this half

Ugh. This is not enjoyable at all. Vick looks like last year.

KC rushes 3 , Sack. We rush 3 on 3rd and a mile, routine first down. This team is comically awful.

Every pass is so simple. Alex Smith being as bad as our D is only reason we arent down 20 plus.

And O line is garbage again. Just cut Vick and go with Foles and see what we got.

Exactly, every pass is less then 5 yards in the air. Eagles are shooting themselves, this is a winnable game but Vick's playing like sh**

Well it was fun watching Shady while it lasted. A damn shame. Best wishes Shady, hope it's not as bad as it looked. I'm not holding my breath.
