Zero pressure and no coverage. Its so simple to beat his D. They may kill most he clock here cause hey arent good enough to score a big play. Playing out exact same as SD game.

7 plus minute drive by Alex Smith from his own 3 yd line, let that sink in for a minute.

This D is sad. I have no confidence they can make adjustments. Oh third and long? Crossing route.

So we need 2 scores and a defensive stop in 3:24. Seems plausible ?

I said at start of year we would need 30 plus to win every game, so far bang on. 26 by KC means 40 plus by any team with avg offence.

Funny, I didn't think they could embarrass themselves more than against the Chargers...

Look at the personnel on the defense. Are you surprised? This just isn't a talented unit. The secondary is essentially rejects from other teams, and the front 7 is personnel meant for a 4-3 trying to run a 3-4.

Just got back from game. Defense didn't play as bad as people are saying but the crossing route by Avery was awful. Also, what do you expect when you're always on the field? You're going to get tired. The offense longest drive of the season before today was less than four minutes. I'm not sure if that was beaten today. Chargers held the ball for 40+ minutes and I'm sure the Chiefs were close to that today.

Vick was awful. He cost them the game, not the defense. The defense (and the Chiefs awfulness) kept them in the game but Vick kept handing it back.

Highlight of the game was the replays on the big screen of the fake injuries. Something has to be done about them. Was hilarious when one of the Chiefs players went down laid on the ground and when he got up off the ground tried to go back to the huddle.

I would not be against this. Not because I love Foles, but because I just don't think Vick is all that great a QB. And I was of this mind when he was in Atlanta. Heck of an athlete back then, average at best QB. A lot of people around town like to parrot the notion of the future Eagles QB isn't currently on the roster, and I really can't argue that point.

So start Foles. If he does well enough in this offense, maybe you can flip him for a 2-5th round pick (depending on how well he performs) to a team that misses out on the premiere QBs in next years draft. If Foles does poorly, then don't even bother trying to flip him, and just wave goodbye to him, or keep him as your 2nd/3rd starter.

I'm the not a Vick fan at all but I have trouble singling him when the whole offense played like garbage sans McCoy. Vick was bad don't get me wrong but so was the offensive line & the receivers.

The Chiefs pass rush killed the Eagles tonight. Hali was abusing Peters all night, him & Houston were in the backfield all night.

I was expecting a bad year right off the bat so I'm not really shocked where they're sitting at right now. Chip needs another draft or two to get the right personnel he needs to get this thing going in the right direction.

Once again, it came down to turnovers and the defense not being able to get off the field on third down. Whoever made the comment about personnel is absolutely correct. The secondary is an island of misfit toys, they have DT's playing NT, and their old pass rushing defensive end is now an OLB. Ryans is too slow to play MLB. There are literally only three quality players on the defense, and they still have their flaws. Boykin is a pretty talented dude, but he is a midget and probably doesn't have a future with the Eagles/Chip Kelly. Kendricks has a nose for the ball, but his tackling and size are issues. I've like what I've seen from Barwin, but he's never been consistent enough to stick with a team for the long haul.

The defense sucks. The personnel on the defense sucks. But the defense wasn't the reason they lost last night.

It would be nice to have another weapon like Maclin on this team. Avant makes his spectacular catches and Cooper is a good blocking WR which is useful for this type of offense. But their isn't anyone else besides Jackson who "threatens" the defense.

Another thing is what happened to the type of offense/play calling that they had against the Redskins? Where are the two wide receivers on both sides of the field behind each other and Shady in the backfield allowing Vick to read the defense (blah) and make the best play based off of what the defense is showing them. Maybe it's because I've been at the last two games but I don't remember seeing that once. Last night was just a standard offense.

Yeah, teams are taking away those bubble screens and forcing Vick to beat them over the top, which he can't do consistently. The pace is slower, not by much, but slower. They need to find a way to get more touches for Brown. Shady is not going to hold up getting that many touches for an entire season.

Why hasn't anyone signed Brandon Lloyd? Wouldn't he be worth a look?
