He's acting in a Zombie movie. A lot of the articles state that "he gave up football" to do that and i'm not sure if that means he doesn't want to come back or that he's just doing the movie instead for the time being.

I think he would be a great addition. Liked him during his short time with the Rams and he had a pretty good year last year with the Patriots. Only thing is that he's another small wide receiver.

Not a big pigskin fan but prefer it over baseball...wanted to experience all the hype of Chip Kelly and his O......sadly it didn't last very long. Looking forward to some Flyers hockey soon and a bit of a better product on D...hopefully!

The defense wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. They only gave up 1 touchdown to the Chiefs offense which is pretty good considering how many times the Eagles gave the ball to them in good field position. Defense kept holding them to field goals and keeping the team in the game. The turnovers were the reason for the loss. Punt returner fumbles a fair catch, Kelce snaps the ball into himself, and Vick throws 2 dumb passes into coverage.

I don't understand blaming the loss on the defense here.

Brutal game. Left after the McNabb ceremony. Biggest waste of $100 ever.

It wouldn't shock me to see the eagles win today. They're still a 8-8 team at best but I don't know, I have a gut feeling they'll keep it close and maybe pull it out. This town is going be brutal the next week though if it happens.

A win? You crazy. I'm just glad the bludgeoning won't be on a nationally covered game like MNF. It's tucked away very nicely into a 4:25 slot.

This would require the perfect storm. No turnovers by the Eagles, multiple by the Broncos. Balanced up-tempo offense, stout defense, specifically the secondary. Special teams needs to be real special. And even with all that they'll probably need a lot of luck, perhaps an unfortunate injury or 2 for a few Broncos players, and quite possibly the ball last.

It does feel like a trap game for the Broncos, but when do the Eagles ever win the trap games they're in either as the trapper or the trap-ee? Sure feels like they lose them a lot, especially when they're against the AFC West. Impossible to win this game? No, but I wouldn't bet against the Broncos when they've got Peyton vs. this Eagles defense.

Just saying, from the thread's name, the date should be the 29th, the 28th was yesterday.

I think you've been listening to too much Mike Missanelli this past week

Don't think that was an encroachment penalty but whatever, think it should have gone against the offensive lineman who jumped unnaturally. Defense looks terrible though.

Yeah, I thought that was a pretty obvious false start. I mean, the defensive lineman jumped into the neutral zone, but got back before the offensive lineman jumped.

I disagree, I thought it was legit. Was angry once I saw him jump.

He jumped but it wasn't called until the offensive lineman jumped.

Well, that is the rule. If the O-lineman doesn't move and the D-lineman gets back before the snap and there's no contact, there's no penalty. But if the D-lineman's movement causes the O-lineman to jump, it's on the D-lineman unless the delayed jump was really obvious. I don't think the O-lineman jumped late enough to call it a plain false start.
