Rather it is Midget AAA - QMJHL draft where players depending on selection activate the U.S. Prep School/USHL/JR. A to NCAA option. Maritime players are drafted at the same early age and their decision process is roughly the same.
what about the 18-19-20 years old players ? who are the best ncaa potential
18-20 year olds in Quebec that appeared in the Q are not NCAA eligible. Jr A players in Quebec that are not former QMJHL players might make division II but they are nothing special. Some play CIS after their junior career and they are average at best.
