He had a good game in the offensive zone, still got pushed way too easy off the boards and lost nearly all his puck battles. He also floats around too much when the puck isn't on his stick, which has been an issue even tonight.

I still don't get why Prust gets PP time. Thats not his thing. Would love to see a Collberg-Galchenyuk-Bournival line or something.

Nice statement game from Desharnais, even if it is preseason. He might get a bigger cushon than most for being a "local" feel good story, but he seems the type who wants to make up for last year.

I really want him and Pacioretty separated...but that will hopefully include DD suceeding away from Patches.

One of the few things worth watching in the Bulldogs last year was those two, I think they have quite a bit of chemistry too.

To be honest, DD didn't have a flawless game here. He made some nice plays but he still has the same weaknesses. He needs to start moving his feet.

And that's what he is. He's not Plekanec, and never will be. He's far from the only offense-only player in the NHL.

Sorry for not only looking at points like you do and then making a comment about it after the games, it's funny how you say that when I'm the first to give credit to Desharnais when he does something right. He has been good offensively tonight, making nice passes. He's also been terrible along the boards and defensively as usual. I don't see what's wrong with that statement. It's hilarious how you have to jump in everytime someone talks about Desharnais.

Still sucks? We had one of the best last year, and it hasnt been bad today, especially without Markov.

Nate loves underdogs, DD is the underdoggest of the under dogs.

Agreed

A Bournival-St-Pierre-Holland line in Hamilton would be awesome.

Awe, I don't agree with your opinion so you have to attack. Quite cute.

Anyway - good game from the boys tonight! Had fun watching!
