Trust me, Pateryn is in the top 10 in the depth chart and if he isn't he should be. Who would be ahead of him?

It wasn't really a fight, both players fell before anything happened.

Not in order, but 10 guys ahead of him without question:

Subban
Markov
Gorges
Emelin
Murray
Diaz
Boullion
Tinordi
Drewiskie
Beaulieu

Until Emelin and Drewiske have recovered from injury they aren't on the depth chart because they are unavailable for play and I would argue that he might or might not be ahead of Beaulieu depending on the team needs at the moment a call-up may be required.

I'll say it again. Tinordi is beast. Hope that the big mistake from Pateryn after Tinordi's hit won't shy him away from giving open ice hit.

What is he doing that impresses you so much....Dumont sucked in this preseason and frankly, I don't see White too much so why wouldn't he suck too? And that's a guy who was a regular NHL'er at some point. He has to do much more. But maybe he'll shine more when the real stuff stars. Not sure White can do as if he already has his job.

Either way, if we see him more than a few games this year, we're in trouble.

Yet, Mario Tremblay praises Dietz, I guess that's because his name is Didier.

I never said he impressed me, I just think they talk too much about a 4th liner in the preseason.

Well said. You can't overreact to one poor showing. Just to even things out... Thomas having his best showing so far.

Well preseason is about who will make the team. Since we're pretty sure Plekanec, Bourque and Brière will make it, and the only spots available "could" be on the 4th line, hence the White discussion. Which frankly was only 1 portion of the 2nd intermission.
