I don't understand the meaning of this.

I guess he means that they will have success and bring good developed player on the habs, like they did in the 70's with Robinson, Carbonneau, Lambert etc. while finishing top-3 in the east pretty much everytime because of the strenght of the team.

Hi Nicholas like Treb says, developing a winning team and spirit through an organization's own system, builds to championship teams. Having seen the Habs do this in the 60's and 70's gives insight as to what Bergevin, his staff and the Molson's are trying to accomplish once again, not only for the Habs but Quebec and the NHL.

Thanks Treb that was my point, maybe not that clear I guess.

According to Derek Willis tweet, the Dogs camp looks much more competitive this year. He likes the depth and that is before the next round of cuts from the Habs.

I watched Aliu play a game for Calgary last year and he was a physical presence. He really punished some of the opposing players with his hits. If he can put his game together and develop the right attitude he could be a solid addition for the bottom end of the Dogs lineup.

Happy to see Laliberté impressing Derek. Hope he can continue doing it.

Hamilton needs an old fashion goon to protect our young prospects. Tarnasky and Aliu aren't the answer.

I have never had the opportunity to catch a Bulldogs game, but how is Quailer? I simply ask due to the fact he is a beast when I play NHL 4.

I thought this would finally be the year AHLlive got their **** together, but I guess not.

Why the hell would I pay $300 per year (or $150 for Bulldogs package) for crappy choppy internet streams, when I've been getting NHL Centre Ice for the past 10+ years and have only been paying between $150 and $200. Plus, for the past few years the games have been in crystal clear HD.

It's a joke that they would charge that much. Maybe when they offer a full AHL package for like $99, then I'll consider it.

Was at the Bulldogs training camp open practice and scrimmage this morning.

Carriere, Brisebois, Allard and Lapointe were there. Only 25 people watching, so said hi to Brisebois but they all looked to busy to talk in detail ( if they would ).

Not much to say. Liked Andrighetto and Nystrom a bit, liked Price the d-man, who is older, and liked Thrower. Noone really stood out in the red=white scrimmage. Leblanc just looks slow even at this level, Nattinen a beast. Bunch of others on tryouts. Aliu looks trashy slow, wont make Hamilton I think. Disappointed in Ellis.

Hoping to make tomorrow again, maybe more to see and say then.

Maybe I should chant something about Leblancs girlfriend but all the Habs brass would probably kick my arse.

Stuff about Voyaguers 70"s . Wow, that is out there. Lets target AHL playoffs which with a strong D we can do.

Good to hear about Nattinen. It's a make or break year for him. I remember watching him in the world juniors against the US. He was dominant and so was Finland... but goaltending won it for the US

Well, are you sure the Bulldogs still dont have the HD? Derek was saying they were working on having it for this season..

HockeyStreams mate: 15$/month for all games all leagues: live and on-demand.

Can't wait to see the Dogs this year. Derek Wills already likes what he's seeing at camp right now and there's a freakin possibility of at least 13 more players coming their way.

Since it's a contract year for him, he's going to need to show something. Hopefully he can stay healthy and have a big year.

For sure. Really like his game but man he's pretty glass. He's got a 'projectable frame' (haha that term, jeesh) if he put some muscle on he could be a force and maybe finish a season.

Holland - St-Pierre - Thomas
Andrighetto - Dumont - Leblanc
Nystrom - Nattinen - Blunden
Quailer - Tarnasky - Fournier

Beaulieu - Pateryn
Dietz - Nygren
Lashoff - Ellis

Tokarski
Mayer

Few AHL all stars, grit, some size, some skill, 4-5 rookies vs majority rookie lineup. Wouldn't be surprised if the Dogs make the playoffs.

No way all the beef is on the bottom 2 lines. I imagine that the very least Blunden will find his way onto a top line.
