Yeah. Not one reference to Craig Simpson's negative impact on his development so far.

This kid is a beauty ..i saw him play fairly often in Red Deer and i saw Redden quite a few times especially at the Memorial Cup in Kamloops and in the playoffs against the mighty Blazers ..and they are comparable although i think Woywitka is more physical than Wade was .
But hey if someone offered the Oilers Wade Redden for Comrie i imagine you would of jumped through barrels ..so maybe the Oil will end up winning this deal hands down .

Considering that Mikey was a 3rd round draft pick who actually panned out, I think we've already won....

Great work Guy. Hahah... what kind of nickname is cheeky? A lot of dressing room jokes I imagine. :p

How could someone mess up the name Woywitka...? It's not like it's horribly difficult.

Guy, great job as usual - thanks for this article with Woywitka (aka Woy-Toy?) and the others you've done.

Thanks, Guy. It is amazing how getting Woywitka has increased my confidence in our d for the future. Greene, Lynch, Woywitka, Brewer and Semenov sounds to me like a core that could develop into something truly special.

I agree completely. The only thing missing is an offensive guy. Somehow I don't think Bergeron is going to be a long term fixture here. I really like the guy but that's what my spider-sense is telling me.

You're Spider-Man? That explains everything. It's all coming together according to plan...

... I didn't talk to Kevin Lowe, that comment is just quoted from the team's public statement. Just so you knnow and I don't want to misrepresent it either. I will be talking to Kevin Lowe this season but have not done so yet. I'm shooting for around the All-Star break perhaps or a bit later.

Just thanking you for the story and KLo for hanging tuff and getting Woywitka.
