Faksa is our top center prospect and we have a ton of young defensive prospects, so it doesn't really make sense for us. If everything works out right, Faksa will turn out to be a perfect 2nd line center.

Go back and look at pretty much every mock draft from that year. They almost all had him going anywhere from 5th-10th.

So a quick google search... Thats just straight up incorrect. ISS, TSN, Sportsnet, Redline Report, Craigslist (Craig Button), all had him outside the top ten (16th, 11th, 14th, 16th, and 17th respectively).

He was ranked 19th in the REranking done last March by "NHL scouts" (http://www.thehockeynews.com/article...NHL-draft.html).

Central scouting had him as the 7th for NA skaters, but that excludes Euros/goaltenders, so thats a pretty borderline top 10 ranking.

And here's a few links to Mocks that did have him ranked in the top 10.

But yea, for the most part he was usually ranked around 12-15 in most of the mocks I saw. Honestly in the 2012 draft it was kind of a crapshoot after the first few picks.
