Take into consideration the Coyotes' need for another winger, or a forward in general. Who would you be willing to trade from your team to aquire Gormley?

Something around Micheal Sgarbossa, a 2nd and one of the Avs goalie prospects.

Are Bourque, Desharnais, or Gionta of any interest in a package deal? Or is this your typical "won't be moved except for a huge, long-term overpayment" scenario?

Had smith never signed, reimer + a b prospect would have made far, far too much sense.

Sgarbossa and/or McGinn would be assets I'd consider using.

And John Mitchell, if he had any value.

I'd rather keep McGinn if possible. He's good insurance in case there are injuries ahead of him on the depth chart.

Calgary would love to add Gormley to the rebuild. Don't know what necessarily is attractive enough from our roster except maybe Cammy signed to an extension.

It looks like Glencross and Gio are not being moved at all, so yeah, Cammy is probably the only piece big enough. Unless you want Hudler.

I'm still pissed the widely agreed upon Tanguay for Michalek never went down haha.

Cammy at 3 million or Hudler at 4.

Nothing. I really have no interest given the Rangers' depth on defense. Good player though.

What about John Gaudreau straight up.

Personally I think that Defence is a bigger long term need for the Flames, especially top pairing. Flames are loaded now and the future on the LW, (Unless of course they do permanently move Gaudreau to the RW). But he's still a lefty.

Kulemin + a prospect like Blacker or Finn

Gormley could be a great fit with one of Rielly, Gardiner, or Phaneuf, and this move would alleviate our cap woes. I love Kulemin, but I also think the potential Gormley brings would be worth it if the Coyotes were interested.

Ah, the classic "our garbage for your treasure" proposal.

There are very few things I'd give Gaudreau up for. I don't think Gormley is it for me. Sorry.

Scott Laughton and a 3rd. How about it?

I'd do Laughton and a 3rd or a 2nd. Laughton will be a good player in this league, but we're set at center, and we could afford to lose him.

Phoenix doesn't need center but Eller(can be a winger) can be a fair trade for Gormley! He would be perfect with Tinordi on tha blue line!

I think a Laughton for Gormley swap makes sense. Laughton is our best prospect, but he doesn't seem like he's got much of a shot at moving past the 4th line unless he switches to wing. With Giroux, Lecavalier, Schenn, and Couturier all natural centers ahead of him, it's going to be a stretch to get him even to 3rd line C.

Gormley is better ATM but JG is way too skilled to let go, I dont want another MSL type situation here (Flames let him go for peanuts).

I would offer Ferland + 3rd for Gormley but that probably isnt enough.
