Sloppy as hell. Pretty hard to watch.

Let's be honest, even at full strength there's a lot of dead weight and thwarting. They're being fairly lazy too.

Also, ****ing Glass is playing.

Harry Z has to realize that he can get to the corner first and hold it instead of firing it out of nowhere.

But I love how feisty he plays.

I mean you gotta have some pride don't you? It's just preseason but these guys are ultracompetitive professional athletes. **** in high school I couldn't shrug off losing exhibition soccer games. You're getting beat by a bunch of ahlers, you can't tell me they don't care. I guess you gotta take it lightly, but this is... extremely lightly.

Best shift of the game I've seen, right there. And it was the Scrabbles line. Pretty sad.

They should be skating circles around this rendition of the Hawks roster without even really trying too hard.

"Both coaches want their teams to look like they know what they're doing."

They've got half of it right, anyway.

I think that's the closest he'll ever come to saying "What the hell are they doing, out there?!?"

I will say that, all Trib conspiracy talk aside, Despres hasn't done anything to put himself above his competition this preseason.

Hell, Maatta and Pouliot have both looked better.

I know I always get **** for saying it, but I've seen enough of DJ to call it a day. He's not ever going to be anything for Pittsburgh. Maybe for another team, but his purpose here is not going to happen.

I think Geno will be carrying this team to start the season. He's the only one with a jump in his step.

This has all the makings of a 1 or 2-0 loss.

You don't get good scoring chances if you don't move your feet. Like... even a little bit. Come on, guys... at least pretend to care for a few minutes for the home crowd.

Did I miss something? I thought Pouliot was in the lineup tonight.

I hope we don't just guarantee Dupers a spot on the top line. He would be unreal as a 3rd line player. RIght now he's struggling. I'd love to see Beau on Sid's line and Jussi on Geno's.

Sutter w/ Dupers is a match made in heaven.

agreed, but if he would have been given a shot, ever, after 10-11, it might be a different story

Dupuis has just been terrible. If he comes crashing back down to earth this year we could start regretting that new contract sooner rather than later.

HA! Yeah... right. You know better than that. I'm pretty sure training camp and preseason has become a formality for this team. Something you have to do but doesn't actually mean anything.

I get flak for it but Dupuis' "revival" is an aberration. One of my favorites on the team but a guy like that doesn't just figure things out this late in the game.

Come on, Malkin. Geez. Gotta hit the net there, at least.
