Best Food @ WFC

Title says it all, what are your favorite foods at the Wells Fargo Center? I'm not exactly daring enough to try new things here since it's so expensive(as expected). But I tried PJ Whelihan's boneless wings at the Caps pre-season game, wasn't a big fan, $20 out the window. I'm going tonight, and haven't eaten all day. I might grab some WaWa before going, but if I don't, what do you guys suggest?

The food at the WFC is always pretty good. Apparently they have Sushi there. I did not know that.

A cheesesteak from Campo's isn't too bad if it's still there.

The last preseason game I was at, I noticed it. Very empty though, no one bothered trying it, it seemed. If they had General Tso's I'd try it! Not really a sushi person.

This is where I was thinking of trying tonight. I probably will end up there.

Not to be off topic but whats the best hotel to stay at near the arena? My buddy and I are from Canada and want to take in a game at WFC this year.
Getting sick of listening to Sabres and Leafs fans in their rinks.

The only one near the arena is a crappy "Oliday Inn" as featured on Always Sunny in Philadelphia...I'd recommend staying in the city and taking the subway in.

You can also catch a cab from the airport hotels which are like a 10-15 minute car ride depending on traffic.

Yeah, I always enter in through the entrance by the Link so when in doubt that's usually my go-to. I usually go with that & then get some nachos with cheese by the second period from the regular concession stands.

I grab Chickie's Buffalo Sandwich with some Crabfries typically. Filling as hell.

Don't get me Chickie's isn't bad food but for the price I feel like it should be way better than what you get.

They're way over-rated, but 1) their Fries are amazing and 2) the buffalo sauce is real good. Bit over-priced at the arena but reasonable for the quantity you get.

Decent? it's the best cheesesteak in Philly IMO...

I go to Chickie and Petes restaurant, isn't it right outside the Phillies parking lot? They also have one inside the WFC, obviously not as good as the bar/restaurant down the road, but those crab fries

I stayed at an airport hotel when I made it down for the Cup Final in 2010. It was a quick taxi ride to the arena. If you end up going on a day where there's a baseball game or football game, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get to the rink, though. Traffic was crazy the day I went due to a Phillies game at roughly the same time.

So I had Campo's tonight. Wanted a cheesesteak, but they were out. Got an italian hoagie for like $10. Also ordered fries from there. Fries were okay. The hoagie wasn't bad, but I might be sneaking in some WaWa next time. Or trying Chickie's buffalo sandwich mentioned above. The crabfries are alright, it's the cheese that makes'm amazing. But for $11, the fries aren't worth it.

Crab fries. Crazy expensive but very good. Last time I was there it was like 10 bucks for a bucket. I mean it was an eff load of fries but 10 bucks is pretty crazy.

Can't go wrong with crab fries from Chickie's and Pete's. But as others have said...

It's worth it IMO.

Last time, I got fries, chicken fingers, and a large soda and it was like 30 bucks.

I almost had an aneurysm when the guy told me the price.

When my wife and I went in February we just got the crab fries to share, then went out to eat properly after the game. I'm sure it's the same in most sporting arenas, but it was our first Flyers game and the food prices seemed ludicrous.

Yeah. Eat in Center City before the game if you can. The high prices at WFC are to be expected, but that's why I usually just have a couple of beers and call it quits.

i don't think they're in the arena anymore. the tony luke's stand that was right by my section last year has been replaced with a gourmet hot dog stand.

the campo's cheesesteak is probably the best when figuring in the value, now that tony luke's is out. you're gonna pay $7-8 for that steak outside of the WFC anyway. has anyone ever tried the ice steak they have advertised? not sure how roasted peppers and cream cheese would go on a cheesesteak.

I usually grab crabfries if I eat anything. The line is usually ridiculously long and they are ridiculously overpriced, but they are so damned good.

I just drink my dinner at the Wells Fargo center. Grab a old pretzel for a $1 on the way out. Usually I'm buzzed enough not to care. Haha

We tried to go to one of Pat's or Geno's but there were no open parking spots anywhere nearby so we just went back to Wilmington.
