Oh

Well he's only got 60 NHL games over three seasons so I think I'll reserve judgment for now. But yeah he's been really bad so far though his first game was the worse which is to be expected.

Was frightening is Mez has been really bad too

Coburn, Grossmann and Kimmo look pretty good. That is one more positive. But the suckiness of Gus and Mez so far is worrying. Streit has been meh.

Our third line looks like it could be awesome at both ends. Read and Couts look great together. I suppose it is our three best defensive forwards together!

G Vinny and Streit on same pp could be fun.

Couts looks like a whole new player. Beast

Well the rumours going round a while back about how debilitating G's injury could be look to be ill founded so far. Thank god. Still has great passing ability and that shot was lightning.

Does anyone else get the feeling that New Jersey could be a sleeping giant this year? I mean their roster is very talented top to bottom. No weaknesses whatsoever imo.

They should have put in Deboer's bio there "has owned Peter Laviolette & the Flyers for going on three years now".

I know it's only preseason, but we should not be having this tough a time against this Devils team. We've got the much more talented team aside from goaltending. I've given up hope in regards to Lavi ever figuring out a way to counter these *******s.

the top line is obviously a weakness. but we lost two first line talents and havent had a high enough pick recently to get another star one (except stealing Larsson). to do well, the goaltending has to be solid and we need to win alot of 1 goal games. its gonna be tough

plus we've yet to see our actual NHL lineup play. im hoping its in place by Thursday. sick of seeing chumps like Sestito, Pelley and Janssen still in the lineup
