Hopefully he won't rush Murray back in for the opener. Guy already has a hard enough time as is

When's the last time Habs won the first meeting against the Leafs? Seems like they usually lose so perhaps they're due for a win.

My only wish is that Beaulieu plays with anybody BUT Diaz on the powerplay

Why? You don't wanna see Diaz never one-time the puck, pass exclusively to the wall and take a weak wrist shot from the point (Bouillion special)?

I expect a lot of bad pinches and defensive play, and a lot of posts saying it's because its his first game.

If you have a bromance with MT, you too can get PP time.

Only 13 skaters at the morning practice, but the list includes a fully recovered Douglas Murray.

If Murray is fully recovered he should play tonight. Starting him in the season opener is not a great idea but that's my opinion

Clarkson's suspension might help this time. He'll also be unavailable to the Leafs for their following games.

Not sure if posted but Parros got the green light to play.
Said he is looking forward to the first fight/hit. Fingers crossed MT puts him in against the Leafs.

Look for Parros to be quadruple-shifted as the Habs desperately need a big body in front of the Leafs' net.

Parros, Murray, Tinordi, Prust, White....

All in against the Leafs?

I think we could out line-brawl them.

At the very worst definitely not be embarassed by them which in itself is huge. After seeing Tinordi fight he seems a lot stronger. I was happy with our 'fighting' toughness even with out Tinner but he'll be a nice boon in that department.

******* we're actually looking pretty damn tough! Love it!

oh yeah and is Murray for sure in against the Leafs?

Winning a big brawl against them would be huge for the confidence of the team. Well actually it wouldn't do much in reality but it would definitely help us winning the HFboard Wars. Its much more important isn't it? Even more ammunition to chirp Leafs fans!

They routed the Leafs in their last regular season meeting. Also, the Leafs won't have Clarkson in their lineup.

Oh noes, not Clarkson!! He's barely a factor anyways. Being paid like a 1st liner doesn't make him one, sorry.

And please oh please let Parros be there in the home opener!!

I hate the Leafs succeeding as much as anyone and Clarkson's contract is pretty ridiculous but come on, he's going to help them a lot.

They're going to be a tough team to beat again this year. I just hope our luck changes against them.
