Did any one see Markov tug Samsonov?

Did any one see Markov tug Samsonov with his stick skating back after running into each other and before the Wild's second goal??? I wonder why he would do that.

Samsonov is Russian for Locomotive
and Markov means Caboose

I know exactly what you re talkin about
He tried giving him a little push with his stick to make him go faster and catch the Min. player since it was a turnover

I remember the London Knights using that many times throughout the year and playoff run to the mem cup in 2004-2005 (or whenever their mem cup win was)

They still scored on that play. In fact, it screwed up the whole positioning on the play.

I'm only joking of course. What a smart play by Markov, the lazy bastaard.

Haha wow, so creative. Maybe Ribs wouldn't have been so slow if Markov always played behind him. Good eye man.

It's hard to see from You-tube, but it did look more of a push like that then the "tug" I thought I had seen on TV last night.. It did seem to speed Samsonov a bit and was creative.. Thanks for the video and the response..

But the question is....why would you even consider he possibility of it being a tug?

That is really cool. He actually pushed him.
The original post said tug which made it sound like they had a problem with each other.
But in reality Markov was actually trying to get samsonov in the passing lane.
He really is a quiet super star Defencemen.
