This team has such amazing puck possession, the days of dumping the puck and giving it to the other team seem to be over.

Who did Jordie Benn stiff arm to the ice?

He's looked good this period.

This has been a pretty darn good 1st period. Probably 80% of it has been in the offensive zone.

I didn't think Garbutt did much wrong there.

Jordie has had a good game. Nuke looks either injured or tired.

I was just noticing how often they've been turning it over in the neutral and offensive zone.

On a related note, Nuke is going to have to realize that he's not going to walk through NHL defenders with regularity. Chipping it in and going past them is something I hope he adds to his tool box. Right now he's way too predictable.

Garbutt's chances of starting opening night take a hit.

He needed this full game to earn that spot IMO.

A 5 minute major for interference? Wow that was harsh and won't help Garbutt earn a job.

I didn't realize you could have a blindside hit when two players are skating directly towards eachother.

Throw on some stripes and get down there.

My computer is pretty notoriously awful for any stream but this one is fantastic. Thank you guys for posting the link. Watching is way more fun than just listening.

Great stream but the ads are annoying. Not gonna complain too much though.

Just tuned in, glad to see we're up 1-0.

Am I the only one who can't get the stream to work? It's just showing commercials and counting down until puck drop?

If it was intent to injure like Whorley says, it's reaching. Definitely was interference though.

Intermission. The stream works fine.

It was a five minute major for interference. The hit seemed late, but no replay its hard to analyze. No intent to injure was called on the play.
