Sounds like Paul Postma could be moved out of Wpg or maybe even put on waivers. Right handed shot D man that has some offensive upside, could be someone to take a look at ?

Don't the Flyers already have too many defensemen as is?

Does Gus have to go through waivers to be sent back down?

Watching the Wings/Pens game on the NHL Network & the Wings have this young prospect in net who scrunches his body together when he goes into the butterfly & makes himself way smaller than he actually is like Bobrovsky used to do here. Both goals he's got beaten up high too.

He played in the most recent preseason game prior to tonight.

Need to vent.

Sports Illustrated did their NHL preview and power rankings in this weeks issue.

East:
1. Pens
2. Bruins
3. Rangers
4. Wings
5. Sens
6. Habs
7. Leafs
8. Islanders
9. Flyers
10. Jackets
11. Caps
12. Lightning
13. Canes
14. Sabres
15. Devils
16. Panthers

I don't feel like typing out the West, but they have Chicago finishing first. Guess who they have in the finals? Hawks over Pens. When are SI, ESPN, etc. gonna realize that this isn't the NBA?! The best teams during the regular season rarely go all the way. Just ask the Canucks and the Caps.

And I guess the Flyers place on the list isn't too bad...I just think they're a lot better than the Isles....

I can't believe how many Isles fans and BJ's fans think they will finish ahead of us. One year of making the playoffs for NY and a Vezina winner for CBJ, suddenly they think they trump a team who pretty much annually gets in.

Why? We're a wild card right now. Flyers could be anywhere from first to last in this division depending on health and goaltending. Most other teams are the same way, outside of Pittsburgh. I expect CBJ to crack the playoffs and NYI to miss out...but it'll be tight.

The most laughable part of that list is New Jersey at 15.
