I'd like him as a goal scorer on the Ribs and Doan line. Boedker can make plays for the Czechs.

Gagne-Ribeiro-Doan
Boedker-Hanzal-Vrbata

Hemsky at 50% + Kessy + 3rd in exchange for David Moss + Samuelsson.

My feet just got really cold. I like the other idea better. We will talk Kessy a year from now. Haha.

Losing a step doesn't make Gagne useless. I was referring to him going from a 60 point player to a 40-50 point player. He's only 33 and has some gas left in the tank.

Also, if you're expecting a legit playmaker without any major issues, the cost is going to be pretty high.

No thanks. Yandle makes that first a late one. Stastny walks and we get a late first and Wilson for Yandle. No, no. Plus, we don't need a center. Ribeiro, Hanzal, Vermette, and Chipchura is decent enough for next season.

No one said he was useless, just that Maloney has been very specific in his desire to avoid anyone that has 'lost a step.'

Fair enough. What assets would actually be available then? Prospects like Gormley, Summers, etc. for the right player?

Gormley or Rundblad
Korpikoski or Moss
Klesla (injured atm)
Summers, Schlemko, one of the goalies not named Burke
Picks

Lessio or Brown, Samuelsson, but the player coming back would have to be a legit young player

They've been looking for a top 6 forward since they joined the league

I want yandle I would do

purcell plus aulie or barberio to you for yandle and a late pick coming back to tampa.

Could also give you another forward like jt brown instead of aulie or barberio but think you would be best off right now to add the d guy.

Barberio ahl d player of year 2011-2012 pmd very good power play specialist aulie is a giant of a d man but is only going to be a 5-6 guy ever.

Barberio projects to maybe making it to top 4 d men but is good like I said pmd and very good power play not yandle numbers but adequate numbers.

JT Brown though undersized is 5'10 180 guy who plays physical honestly will get in deep in front of net a real warrior for size imo and will be a very good dangerous third line forward who is ready right now as are the other two to take immediate rolls.

Purcell is an elite puck control guy will play more physical when demanded of him cause has done it this offseason. One of best players on tampa in carrying the puck into offensive zone more of playmaker than scorer but has hit 28 goals with marty and stamkos.

That was hilariously ignorant. I guess that is kind of what you intended?

Tampa is one of those teams, as good as Purcell is, if we get Yandle in return, I trade him for sure

Purcell + J.T. Brown + 4th round pick
for
Yandle

Haven't read through the thread and am not a fan of either team, but how about Klesla for Ryan Malone? Clears spots for a Tampa forward prospect and a Phoenix D prospect, Phoenix cuts salary while Tampa clears cap and it seems to fit both team's positional needs. Both guys are injured right now so it's not 100% realistic but if the injuries are minor I think it's a good short term fix for both squads.

I think Colorado has the assets to do something like this.

If Klesla wasn't injured I'd be interested. He is though, so unmovable.

What about a guy like Prospal???
He led the Blue Jackets in scoring last season and is still a legitimate top-6 player despite his age. He's a great team/dressing room player and it wouldn't cost the Coyotes a penny, other than the low cost of his salary...which would only be a commitment of a one-year deal.

the klesla malone thing has been agreed to more times than can be remembered lol between both fan bases but as said both need to be healthy to make it happen.

I personally would rather have yandle and like vasi offered if took a little bit on top so be it.

Stevie and cooper do love malone if he could stay healthy and really say we neeeeeeed him. I dont agree think panik can take his role as power forward and stay healthy hopefully but gm's coaches and fans dont always see same ways obviously lol.

I don't think so. 38 vs 28 yo. Would you do that trade and we're not even talking about the quality of the players involved.
